Back at Plainmoor again as we look to move one step closer to promotion this weekend after our excellent win against Maidenhead last night. The Gulls leapfrogged us in to 3rd place on the final day of the season and have 4 wins and 1 defeat in their last 5 matches.

Marc mentioned a potential different team for this one in the post match, but also hinted that he wouldn't change formation and would just look to outscore the Devon side. No injury news as of yet, but Dan Pybus did return to the squad for the eliminator game yesterday. Jason Prior looked to be struggling with something when he was substituted last night, but it may have just been cramp.

Predictions:

Torquay 3-1 Dorking (McCallum)

5,730 att.

                           Foulkes

         Camp          Knight          L.Vincent

  Enslin        Sidwell        F.Vincent         Lewis

                          Pinchard

                McCallum       Carter

Subs: Francomb, Pybus, Moore, Muitt, Pearson, Prior, Rutherford

Going for an optimistic 2-1 to Dorking (Rutherford and Lewis)

Nervy as hell but a glorious result!

I feel good after Wednesday, and with players coming back I will go with 2-1 to the Wanderers with Alfie and Dennon scoring.

I will also go for a nervy 2-1 win. Alfie and a JP penalty to win it

I'll have a Guinness

I’m hoping for a repeat of Weds’ performance and that the drive down to (and back from) Torquay is kind.

I’ll go with Torquay 1; DW 2 - Rutherford & McCallum

I hope everyone else’s journey to and from is a good one 👍🏻

Looking forward to my second trip of the year to Torquay to watch Dorking.. albeit hopefully this game is on! 🙄🤣

Anyway we can find out how many tickets we’ve sold? Had a peek on the Torquay forums and some of their fans only think we’ll take a hundred or so and the DAZN coverage will discourage our fans from making the journey.  I think they might be in for a shock!!

I can’t call this one, we haven’t beaten a top-quality team away from home for a good while so it will be tough. Yet are we hitting form at the right moment?

Getting the train bright and early from Reading. COYW.

I saw some people saying that we’ve only sold 200 and they may stick us all in the seats so they can have behind the goal.

1230 ko a bit of a killer. Thanks for that!

I'll be travelling in hope rather than expectation. Well as we played on Wednesday, the team has not managed to find that level away from home and bring home the win against a top team so far this season. That said, the away game there last month was a banger and we could've easily won it.   Torquay 2 DW 1 ☹️

Surprised anyone thought we'd take more than 3-400.

A 350+ mile round trip for a 12:30 KO at a ground we played at a few weeks ago. There is also only 1 train that comfortably gets you there before KO and it costs well over £100...

Add to that the dissapointment of the last few weeks, the poor away form and the fact that some people will be away for the Bank Holiday weekend as well.
