Bit of discussion about the 26/27 squad in the other thread so thought I'd move it to it's own one. I am sure we will see a retained list in the next week or so but for now, the confirmed contracted players for next season are:

Brennan Camp

Josh Taylor (injured for the first few months)

Harry Pinchard

James McShane

Seb Tauta-Caballero

Dennon Lewis

Alfie Rutherford

Jake Lawrence

Confirmed players leaving so far:

Tony Craig (retired)

Luke Moore (retired)

Niall McManus

Who would everyone keep/release for next season?

@smr I am assuming Prior? I can't see JNW, Foulkes or Carter re-joining after all that.

Really good keeper. Nice training video from recent time at Gills.

Like @calvertskans said, helps to fill that much needed experience void.

@calvertskans Did they not say they were doing a special feature on Jase this week. Unless they’ve had a change off heart and he’s signed on another year

No disrespect to Harrison who was immense last year, but it’s fair to say that on paper signing a keeper who was first choice for a team two levels above last season is an upgrade. Can understand Gillingham wanting to get younger at that position, and can understand us taking a view that we’re getting a solid pro.

Reload the song! Super Glenn Morris in goal!

@smr Assuming based on this 1 of Prior or George Knight will be staying on. Can't see it being JNW OR Foulkes. Only other possibility is Carter has u-turned on leaving as he did seem like the decision to leave was eating him up.

@gary-munnery I wouldn’t be surprised, and would be more than happy, if Prior is the u-turn, loads to offer next season if fit and playing.

I would love it to be Niall. He really encapsulates the wanderers spirit and when fit is an absolute beast.

@tommywilms10 Agreed , although he already had his send off and present given on the pitch.

Hodgson have 3 separate send offs at Palace, with gifts each time 🤣

Nowt wrong with a comeback

@dorking-eagle Hodgsons spell at Watford was a disaster, lets just say he didnt get any gifts or a send off when he left🤣

Yes I remember...Watford were relegated at Selhurst and Hodgson ignored the Watford fans at the end and applauded the Palace fans instead 🤣

Didn't fit in to the side and the way we played at all imo.

Don't see him joining as Marc clearly didn't rate him with him not even making it off the bench for the last few games.

I thought he was a decent player, looked lively especially away at Enfield. If his wages wernt OTT he would be worthy of a year deal imo. Another option off the bench/rotational, wouldnt be surprised if he ends up back at Weston or joins Torquay
