Bit of discussion about the 26/27 squad in the other thread so thought I'd move it to it's own one. I am sure we will see a retained list in the next week or so but for now, the confirmed contracted players for next season are:

The Barrett signing is a real statement of intent for next season, always seemed to score against us, really talented. Presume he'll get a free role as a number 10 behind the two strikers, filling the Charlie Carter hole.
Great signing. I remember those 2 goals he scored for Aldershot against us at Meadowbank. He looked a class act then and best player on pitch. Can't believe Aldershot were only offering him a 1 year contract considering how many signings they have made already. Assume on a 2 year contract as he turned down the 1 year one at Aldershot.

Barrat looks slimmer in his introduction video than he did when he scored that worldy in the FA cup against us which is a bonus
A great signing but only if we manage to keep the lad fit and get game time out of him. A player with his profile, cannot be put into the S&C sausage machine and expected to do the same as everyone else. Otherwise, he will get injured and we will just have expensive bod watching the games from the stands.
We do not want this lad to go the same way as a Dan Pybus.
Sounds like the Prior situation still hasnt been sorted out yet. Rich mentioned it in his BOA update Yesterday. Also was originally said that a video on his departure would be put out the week after the retained list was announced..
New signing to be announced at 5pm. No clue as yet.
Charlie Sayers LB from Hampton and Richmond, Jack Wood winger from Walton & Hersham or the return of one of our own, Isaac Philpot from Horsham. I guess announcements may depend on when their existing contracts expire.
@hemelwanderer I heard today he isn’t signing on for next season
4th signing announced as Charlie Sayers presumably replacement for JNW.
