Yes, will be my 4th

The 'cancelled one' weekend was actually quite good weather IIRC but the pitch was already unplayable

I'm not quite ready for yet another trip to Torquay yet, and they seemed to have turned a corner a bit now.

Torquay 2 DW 0.

Safe travels all.

Would normally by making the trip, but my son has his first match of the season tomorrow and just wouldn't make it down in time.  Reluctantly going with head over heart this time.  3-1 Torquay.  Hope I'm as wrong as I normally am.

I think MW will go with a 4 atb given the lack of fit midfielders and Torquay will be looking to get the ball in high areas early.

Morris

Philpot Annesley IIensami Sayers

Francomb Pinchard

Forster Barrett Wood

Rogalski

I know that MW is probably not in the position to carry extra numbers but the way he built the squad you do wonder wither he should have used the loan market in a similar way to how he did last season. Clearly light of a ST with Alfie's hamstring going and he's been forced to play Pinchard and Pybus while half fit then wondering why the injury problems are piling up. Patrick Casey is a FA after leaving Charlton in the Summer you would think if you offered him a deal he would probably come back. Could probably do with an option in midfield as he evidently doesn't trust the younger guys enough to start them

@boa-watcher Rich mentioned in one of his weekly updates that Pat Casey is very difficult to get hold of, I think the club may of reached out to have a conversation but it sounds like it didnt get anywhere (think he may not of responded straight away or at all) and with him being from a traveller background he tends to be on the move a fair bit. The fact he turned down a new deal with Charlton and is currently a free agent makes me think that in the long run we may well be better off without a player like him

@hemelwanderer I must of missed the bit in the weekly update in that case fair enough if they posed the question to him because he was great. Rutherford on the bench so I am assuming his hamstring issue isn't too bad. I've also just watched MW interview in which he's said he should have brought in more loans for the start of the season so that's been identified as an Issue. You can't help but feel with MW the core boys he likes to have in his teams are never far away from an injury.

@boa-watcher Yeah was when he does the Q and A at the end, this was few weeks ago now. Rogalski starts now in place of Wood TUFC commentary have said. Got a strong side out today with good options off the bench

3-1 Torquay, I think they will target out backline and get joy especially in the 2nd half.

So close to my prediction of a 3-2 win, if only Dennon had gone down for a last kick penalty at the point of contact.

Anyway, decent day out all in all. Never win there.

Printed programme, 16 pages, only a pound (haven't paid that little for a programme in years!), great idea by Torquay that!

Shambles of a defensive cock up for the first goal by Torquay.

Should have had someone lie down behind the wall when we conceded their second (which by the way should never have been a free kick, we should have got one ourselves for the elbow to Rogalski on the halfway line just before)

Played so well, deserved the win. Lovely pitch, crowd over 3700, with 90 Dorking fans were loud as much as was possible

Stewards still officious pompous wally's, but in spite of this you could go into the home sections of our stand to get beers, so in some ways 'soft segregation' which is odd for a stadium.

Thought Femi looked seriously nervous on the ball when he came on.

2 weeks until the next league game, which is no bad thing, always good to have a change of routine.

Saw both of the goals on twitter filmed from the Torquay end. Both looked really poor, especially the freekick seeing how many men we had in the wall and they just fired it low and in.

Yeah was shouting for Isaac to smash it away, he wasn’t aware Moore was right there.

Good entertaining game, they had a few solid chances first half and we had much better of the second. Barrett got a fair bit of stick off the home crowd and I saw him flick the finger at them , so was glad he got his goal and was very good today again. Thought Nikaj was very good today too, always battling and  getting past the defenders.

Im still not sure on Morris as yet…

Long old day going there and back, I’m definitely getting a hotel if there’s a next time 😂
