Bad news folks - Forster suspected MCL injury today at training - no contact, just a foot plant. Bloody pitch strikes again.

@tommywilms10 has to go in the summer if possible.
Such bad news about Forster , just as he was hitting some good form. Don’t have any fully fit wingers now
Devastating news that he is out, but lets not jump to conclusions about how long he could be out for.

Absolutely. Everyone is so fed up at this point. Obviously once the operating licence is fully in place, I'd imagine that becomes a priority.
The club can't progress until that pitch is gone. It has to be the number one priority of everyone involved, not bars, murals, away ends, etc.
Why are we even training at Meadowbank? When do we go back to Reigate?

Agreed, surely it has got to be the worst pitch in the League? However, need to ensure get the best replacement. Horsham decided to replace their pitch this season early, eventhough it seemed fine. Their replacement seems a lot worse with black rubber coming up every time the ball bounces on the surface rather like at Dorking. Surely this affects the balls speed and movement, let alone the players?

It is the absolute no.1 priority but obviously can't happen until the licence has been signed, and then has to be during the close season.....
@crawleysth I think we'll look at something like Maidstone's as the gold standard..

Real shame if bad injury. Harry is a tricky winger and was susceptible to the odd injury at Crawley. When I heard he was trialling for Dorking, I was worried this would happen if he signed.

Abe, apparently Horsham's new pitch is a revolutionary new woven artificial green pitch, and first in England to use (Falkirk and Livingston also used) and supplied by Tiger Turf. Replacement pitch project cost £260,000 according to Horsham, and existing shock pad underneath left in place to improve player comfort and reduce impact injuries. Only time will tell whether starts to play better and does minimise injuries. Certainly in the past they haven't had the large number of ACL and MCL injuries Dorking have had.
Confirmed as the full ACL rupture for Forster.
I think that is now 6 in the last 6 years...
I am amazed that players aren't put off from joining us due to that pitch. It's horrific.
