Hi all,
Is there any interest in running a mini prediction league - just for a bit of fun and to promote wider engagement on the Forum?
We could run one for all the Dorking games in each month, with a suitable prize for the winner each month. I have spoken to OLBG and they seem up for providing a suitable prize - shirt or merch perhaps. Format tbc, but something like a point for a correct result and 3 points for correct score. For those who enter, we could publish a league table each month. Or from first game in March to the end of the season. Might encourage more than the regulars to get involved and add a bit of competitive spice to our predictions!
What do people think? (A thumbs up will do)
If there is enough enthusiasm I'll have a word with OLBG and see what we can set up.

Deffo from me - love a good prediction, but I'll finish bottom - way too optimistic, and can't seem to ever bring myself to predict a defeat...

Ok, this is the mini-prediction league for March. 7 games. We'll run another one in April.
Rules are very simple:
- Put your prediction on the normal match thread for each game, before ko.
1 point for predicting the correct result: WIN, DRAW or LOSS
3 points for the correct SCORE - For league table, if there are equal points, whoever has the most correct scores is placed higher.
I'll put a league table here for all those entering, and update it after each match.
Whoever is top at the end of March can claim a small prize, kindly offered by OLBG (eg club scarf).

Updated table below. Again, not many correct calls but @HemelWanderer streaks into an early lead with his hard headed pessimism!
Tough call on @JacksonFairweather, who predicted 1-1 if Carter played up top. But Prior played instead, if only for 20 minutes, so I don't think it counts. Maybe the Pools panel will have to sit if there is an appeal.
