Back at Meadowbank as we face in-form Chesham United this weekend. The Generals currently sit 8th in the table on 52 points and have won 4 of their last 5 matches.

Marc announced that Dan Gallagher is the latest to be ruled out for the season as he has picked up a knee injury. Carter and Pybus might both return to the bench while McManus awaits results of a scan. There was no mention of George Francomb in the update though. Brennan Camp and George Knight start their respective suspensions.

Predictions:

Dorking 2-2 Chesham (Prior, Lewis)

1,712 att.

                             Foulkes

         Francomb     Annesley    Norville-Williams

   Enslin         Sidwell           Moore             Lewis

                            F.Vincent

                    Prior            Rutherford

Subs: Craig, Sullivan, L.Vincent, Pybus, Pinchard, Carter, Straker

Yet another season ending injury. Shame as Dan G had been solid recently and put in some MOM displays.

Really can’t see us not winning this one. I know Chesham have been good of late but I fancy a 3-1 home win.

2-0 to the Wanderers, a debut goal for Liam Vincent and one for Alfie. I see Chesham is very strong at the back, so do not expect too many goals here.

Does anyone know if there is any chance of Pmac returning before end of season, hope he can make it back for some games at least.

Tight 1-0 win. I hope we have learned from the away game not to whip balls in high/on the keeper as he seemed to swallow everything up at their place.

@jacksonfairweather Marc has said a couple of times that he will be out for 4-6 weeks so I would expect him back in around a month from now unless the injury is worse than expected.

Chesham have been good recent but still think we will have enough to win 2-1. Rutherford and Prior.  Attendance 1,937.

Anyone know when we can expect the return of some of the loan players such as Lawrence, Saunders and Tauta-Caballero?

@calvertskans Excellent news, he is such a great player to watch. I hope we can at least see him before the season is out. Then if we do go up, hope we can make the deal permanent, as it would make sense.

Looking forward to seeing Kai make his home debut - just get the ball to him!

Bench is looking stronger now with new signings and returnees, so less likely to run out of steam hanging on.

Was impressed by Chesham at their place, but we are a different team at home.

Wanderers 2 Chesham 1 (Rutherford, Lewis)

Tough afternoon, was happy to get out with a point in the end . More injuries to key players- when will it end ?!
Seeing all the missing players lined up at the top of the Stonegate was crazy.

Good point in the end. Chesham caused us problems and we couldn't break them down. Hopefully Lewis and Rutherford are okay, but I fear for Lewis as already carrying an injury. Good to see Carter back, Pybus obviously still not fully fit, as didn't come on.

After today's results, our main rivals look like Hornchurch, possibly Weston Supermare, and the pitch!

I believe Chesham are the only side so far this season to of taken 4 points off us.

Chesham are clearly a decent well drilled side, very solid, albeit a touch unambitious,  they came to get a point and not be beaten, which isn't entirely unreasonable. Given the injury situation it probably is a point gained and the othet results didn't go too badly.for DW.
