A trip to East London awaits this weekend as we face Dagenham & Redbridge at Victoria Road. The Daggers have had a difficult first season back at Step 2 as they currently sit 13th in the table on 49 points. Recent form has improved though, with 2 wins and a draw in their last 5 games, and the news this week that popular YouTuber KSI has purchased a 20% stake in the club.
The weekly update actually gave some relatively promising injury news for a change with Niall McManus expected to return for this one. Moore and Rutherford were described as "doubts" but might not be too far away. Jake Lawrence has been recalled from his loan at Bognor, while Dennon Lewis may be able to feature with the help of injections to manage his groin problem. Paul McCallum was described as 2-3 weeks away and interestingly, Patrick Casey got a mention as having an outside chance for a return in April. Dan Gallagher and Jimmy Muitt were described as mid-term with Marc not ruling out the possibility of seeing either of them again this season.
Brennan Camp serves the final game of his suspension while George Knight serves the second of his.

A draw would not be a bad result here, given the injuries, although the Daggers fans were all very negative after their defeat by Totton.

I am going for a 2-1 win for Dorking (Carter and Prior) because Dagenham just aren't consistent. They average about 1500 crowds at home games but I reckon a bumper 2100 just because young people want to see KSI.

Had a look at the ticketing site and Dagenham have sold LOADS of seats already. Maybe there is a KSI bounce and they will get a bumper crowd?

With the news of KSI, tickets selling fast and the overall occasion unfortunately I reckon it will be 2-1 Dagenham
Even with the KSI bump in ticket sales, I'm going with a 3 - 2 for Dorking (Vincent, Carter, and Kai). Having Carter back, even not match fit, is huge, and Moore helping organize the midfield I think will be key. A problem is not having Camp in the back three.
I highly doubt he plays Frank Vincent in the hole behind Prior and Carter. If anything it will be Carter in the hole given a free role.
I will go for 2-0 win to Dorking (Carter, Lawrence), Daggers have lost 2 in their last 3, and look like fizzling out as mid table also rans this season. We have far more to play for here.

I think dorking 3-1 carter 2x and prior. Bold shout but despite the KSI news don’t think Dagenham are great anyway, even though we have injuries I think we’ll put 3 past them and they don’t score a lot. Attendance will be high for home fans expecting good atmosphere, hopefully we bring at least 200+ which to be honest looks unlikely with our current sales, hoping for a tone on the day.

The KSI thing (although it seems despite the fanfare he’s only acquired 20%) isnt ideal but we’re the better side and what with Hornchurch closing the gap on Tuesday, expect a response.
