Dorking Wandering
The Dorking Wanderers FC Fans Forum
We look to bounce back at Meadowbank tomorrow night as we face in form Chelmsford City under the lights. The Clarets sit 8th in the table and are unbeaten in their last 6 matches, scoring 12 goals in their last 2 games. The Essex side also includes two former Wanderers in the form of Jack Barham and recent loanee, Noah Phillips.
George Francomb was added to the injury list at the weekend but Alfie Rutherford is expected to return. Brennan Camp returns from suspension while George Knight serves the last game of his.

"Why would I leave to join a League Two club? We're going there anyway!" - Marc White
Marc was very positive in interview today. Said Francomb only issue after Saturday. 2-1 Dorking (Camp.and Rutherford). 1897 (132 Chelmsford).
Tough game, be good to have Camp and Rutherford back in the fold. 1-1
2-1 home win, goals for Alfie and Carter
A tough one to call this I think. We have sometimes struggled a bit against teams in the top 7 or 8 this season and Chelmsford are in good form and we aren't at our blistering best... But we are at home....
Certainly a win against Chelmsford and Ebbsfleet and I will start entertaining some ridiculous hopes about actually winning the league!
I'll prioritise winning the scarf though and go for 2 - 2 as my prediction. Rutherford and Carter.
I am going for an ugly 1-0 win. Captain Carter with the goal. Attn: 1776 (119 away)
I'll have a Guinness
Dorking for a 3-1 win. Carter, Sidwell and Camp
If he plays Charlie Carter up top then its a 1-1 draw, if he does not then its 2-0 to Chelmsford.
I am also not sure what Jason Prior brings to the party these days. We would be better off with Jake Lawrence partnering Charlie in my opinion.
Chelmsford were hard to play against at their place (or was it the wind?) and seem to be a threat from set pieces (like us). They have only drawn two away games this season, us only two at home; so I'm going for a nervy 1-0 DW win. Camp with the goal and a booking.
I am hoping Horsham do us a favour at home at Hornchurch tonight and get a draw. Their home record is poor and they have more injuries than us, so I think a win may be beyond them

Sticking with my 3-0 (Prior, Carter, Prior)...
Hoping for a 2-0 Dorking goals from . . .Somewhere.
