A trip to East London awaits this weekend as we face Dagenham & Redbridge at Victoria Road. The Daggers have had a difficult first season back at Step 2 as they currently sit 13th in the table on 49 points. Recent form has improved though, with 2 wins and a draw in their last 5 games, and the news this week that popular YouTuber KSI has purchased a 20% stake in the club.

The weekly update actually gave some relatively promising injury news for a change with Niall McManus expected to return for this one. Moore and Rutherford were described as "doubts" but might not be too far away. Jake Lawrence has been recalled from his loan at Bognor, while Dennon Lewis may be able to feature with the help of injections to manage his groin problem. Paul McCallum was described as 2-3 weeks away and interestingly, Patrick Casey got a mention as having an outside chance for a return in April. Dan Gallagher and Jimmy Muitt were described as mid-term with Marc not ruling out the possibility of seeing either of them again this season.

Brennan Camp serves the final game of his suspension while George Knight serves the second of his.

Predictions:

Dagenham 2-1 Dorking (L.Vincent)

2,174 att.

                            Foulkes

        Francomb     Annesley     Norville-Williams

 Enslin         Sidwell          McManus           L.Vincent

                           F.Vincent

                     Prior           Carter

Subs: Craig, Sullivan, Pybus, Pinchard, Lewis, Lawrence, Straker

One other aspect of this weekend is that it is our first game on grass for almost 2 months.

Will be interesting to see how we adapt as we've only won 3 games on grass all season.

@oscardwfc Yeah, I think we usually have a good 'walk up' number as many are used to paying on the gate.

Tickets will remain on sale online up until kick-off. Tickets are also available to purchase on the day at the turnstiles from one hour and a half prior to kick-off.

Please note that ticket prices increase by £2 on the day of the fixture, with the discounted prices available until 11:55pm the day before the game.

(So purchase before you go to bed tonight if you want to make a small saving)

Right then, I might as well start predicting if I'm going to win that scarf!

@dorking-eagle Not got mine yet (didn't know about the on the day increase 🙄) - and I'd imagine a good 50 or so might pay / buy today so that's a really decent following

Just counted now and looks like we sold a bunch this morning and packed out block 1, 321! If we also get a couple on the gate were looking at nearly a sell out.

Although we lost so did Hornchurch, Worthing and Torquay, so managed to maintain our 5 points advantage at the top.

Disappointing result but yet again results manage to go our way. Tuesday night will be a real tough fixture as Chelmsford are in good form and won 7-1 today. I thought we just didnt really look like scoring today and desperately missed all the injured players that were sat around me in the stand today. 321 Wanderers in the end a good turnout. Onwards and upwards👍

Yes disappointed to lose but ultimately didn’t matter with other scores.

Thought first half we played some decent stuff and was surprised by the half time changes. I would’ve kept Kai on for longer , unless he got a knock? Seriously lacked in front of goal today but Alfie looks close to a return judging by his running pre game

Didn't look like we would score tonight if we played till midnight. Toothless.

2nd half in general there was no pattern to our play whatsoever

Thought Dennon was excellent considering his groin injection treatment. Kai the best player of the 1st half for me.

The amount of very decent players we have now in the building and on the pitch today that is 3 points dropped imo, which is gutting seeing how inconsistent every else is at the top of the table.

I will listen to Marc's interviews later once the Wrexham game has finished, no doubt he was as gutted as we are, after all he always wants to win. Considering the points we haven't picked up in recent matches our position is still excellent. Can't wait for Camp to return to the side.

The amount of proper 1st teamers in the stand by the way - crazy times.

I think the announcer said 421 of us there today (?)!

I think he said 321 away fans, very good. Nice stand to be in with some decent facilities.
