The playoffs begin as we face Maidenhead United at Meadowbank under the lights on Wednesday. The Magpies were able to sneak in to the final playoff spot after a 0-0 draw at home to Hornchurch on Saturday. The Berkshire side are also unbeaten in their last 6 games.
No injury news from Marc in the update but he did mention some key players returning, although this could just be a reference to Muitt and McShane being in the squad at Weston. Knight and Pinchard were both withdrawn with problems on Saturday, and Marc also mentioned that Carter rolled his ankle so their fitness will remain to be seen.
Predictions:
Dorking 2-1 Maidenhead (Rutherford, Camp)
2,688 att.
Foulkes
Camp Francomb L.Vincent
Enslin Sidwell F.Vincent Lewis
Carter
Prior Rutherford
Subs: Knight, Sullivan, Moore, Muitt, McShane, Pearson, McCallum
@gary-munnery He may drop down a level or 2 for one final season but I would be surprised if hes still with us next season
Sad to see some of the great Wanderers Warriors move on - the continuity of the squad is one of the unique features (at non-league level) of DW. Let’s have a statue of that Mooro goal! But Marc is right to be hard headed when it comes to refreshing the squad and lowering the age profile. Let some new legends grow.
I think we will have quality and experience on the pitch to get a result tomorrow. Let’s hope the Wanderers gods are smiling in front of goal. Could be chaos: 3-2 win.
Maidenhead have sold just over 300 so far
Apparently 300 tickets remaining...
With the ground capacity at 4125, then that could mean an attendance of 3825
More likely perhaps is that you take out 400 for segregation at the away end (so a sellable capacity of 3725) and 700 unsold out of the 1000 allocated to Maidenhead, and it leaves a figure sold of circa 3000
Thoughts?

Scratch that, Maidenhead tweeting they have sold 375
Big crowd expected over 3000 whatever and limited home tickets remain.
