Dorking Wandering
The Dorking Wanderers FC Fans Forum
Back in league action this weekend as we look to bounce back from FA Cup heatbreak away at Slough Town. The Rebels currently sit bottom of the league on just 4 points but have appointed a new manager and received major new investment this week.
No real injury update this week but Brennan Camp was described as needing a fitness test after picking up a lip injury at Dover. No update on Pybus after he missed out against Dover.
Predictions:
Slough Town 1-2 Dorking (Lewis, Rutherford)
845 att.
Morris
Camp Philpot Ilesanmi
Wood Annesley Pinchard Lewis
Barrett
Nikaj Rutherford
Subs: Sayers, Francomb, McIntrye, Tauta-Caballero, Vincent, McShane, Rogalski
Expecting a tough game. I reckon a repeat of last years trip to Slough. 2-1 win for the Wanderers
@steve1966 It's a decision that rest assured was the right one to take for the club
Reading between the lines, seems like there has been a fall out. This seems to have come out of the blue. Good luck to Dennon.
I'll have a Guinness
Sounds like some kind of fall out for sure based on whats been said here, which is surprising given Dennon was a fan favourite and seemingly a Marc-favourite.
Something hasn’t felt right since the start of the season
Sad but all part of the Wanderers magical mystery tour!
Maybe some strong words said after the cup loss
4-1 win for us tomorrow
OK time for a moan. Free tickets for Slough fans up until 11pm tonight - using the code NEWBEGINNING.
So - we get crap facilities shoehorned into a corner, and pay full price for the privilage. Make it make sense.
Of course I couldn't possibly recommend getting a free one (or two) for the home areas and having an altogether better experience....
Hoping the new manager bump doesn't happen for Slough. Thinking a 2-1 win for us. Who is going to be Left Wing? Will Woody on Left and Nikaj on the right or vice versa? As an aside, sad to see Dennon leave, such a nice, funny guy, and a good winger. Felt he might have struggled a little this season, but fully expected it to pick up as the season went on.

If only I hadn't already bought my match tickets earlier in the week I would be all over a nice dry seat for free 🤬

Get rid of one if our only regularly high level performing players and give a player coming back from an ACL injury, a 3 year contract after spending at least 25% of every interview moaning about injury luck 😩
The more I think about it, with their new owner- I think they probably offered a huge amount of money which we just couldn’t turn down. Interestingly in his unveiling photos, he doesn’t look very happy to be signing. IMO it was a bigger loss losing Charlie carter, JNW and Harrison Foulkes last season.
We won't keep a clean sheet, that's a given. I hadn't heard about Dennon, and am very upset about this. I'll go for a 3-2 win and hope that the wheels don't come off the bus.
Prediction - 3-3 draw (well sooner or later one of these mad predictions will be right!)
