Back in league action this weekend as we look to bounce back from FA Cup heatbreak away at Slough Town. The Rebels currently sit bottom of the league on just 4 points but have appointed a new manager and received major new investment this week.

No real injury update this week but Brennan Camp was described as needing a fitness test after picking up a lip injury at Dover. No update on Pybus after he missed out against Dover.

Predictions:

Slough Town 1-2 Dorking (Lewis, Rutherford)

845 att.

                             Morris

               Camp      Philpot     Ilesanmi

      Wood       Annesley      Pinchard      Lewis

                             Barrett

                     Nikaj         Rutherford

Subs: Sayers, Francomb, McIntrye, Tauta-Caballero, Vincent, McShane, Rogalski

Probably be a slightly tougher prospect with the new management coming in but I’d expect to win this.

1-3

Alfie, Nikaj , Macca

Bye bye Dennon.  Wasn't expecting that at all.  Sad day

Did not see that one coming at all. Hoping the good news is a new winger or a Jimmy Muitt miraculous recovery

As we all know quite well - we don't generally sell players. So, there is more to this than just a straight piece of transfer business.

Let's just say this decision has been led by the club, for all the right reasons, and it's definately for the best.

Great player for us, but we move on.

@adeb

Thanks AdeB. We’ll see who comes in, but it’s certainly eyebrow raising and I’m sure the club will know that.

I’m interested in the bit about the decision being led by the club, particularly given the rumours about him wanting to be closer to home. Surely those two things can’t necessarily both be true? Did the club ultimately decide to sanction the move, or was the decision to sell actually driven by us?

Sorry but I think the club have taken a step backwards by letting Dennon go. Especially with Forster side lined for the rest of the season.

Woody for me is not good enough. I said in pre season he was Seb Bowerman Mk2, and I am sticking by that.

So I will plump for a 1-1 draw tomorrow

I'll have a Guinness

@steve1966 It's a decision that rest assured was the right one to take for the club

Players move on all the time and we know with Marc, it will be in the best interest of DWFC. I tend to wonder if this may be a decision from something that may have happened within the dressing room.

2-1 dorking. Nikaj and Barrett
