Creating this one so discuss new signings through the Summer (Although I imagine most will be announced in the next few weeks).

Marc said in an interview today that a new young defender will be announced in the next few days. He arrives from a National League South side and has EFL experience.

He also mentioned about rebuilding the physio department over the Summer and that they are close to announcing a new first team coach to replace Ross.

Who else would you like to see come in?

I think Isaac would be able to at least play NLS somewhere (Worthing, Tonbridge etc)? He is still very decent.

Now signed permanent deal for Horsham, as I half expected as he played virtually every game while he was there.

Joe Cook has gone to Worthing which means we will face up against him next season.

Incredibly, Tom Blair has gone to AFC Totton in step 3. I thought for sure he would stay in the NL or another NLS club at the very least.

Joe Cook to get sent off against us lol?

Bit of a lousy move down to step 3 for Blair, but I guess it's more a sign of Totton's ambition? Remember that back in 2018 our own JP9 came to us in Step 3 immediately after securing promotion to step 1 with Havant!

List of ex-Wanderers that we will face next season (so far):

Joe Cook (Worthing)

Sam Beard (Worthing)

Kane Wills (Worthing)

Nicky Wheeler (Worthing)

Jordan Cheadle (Hampton & Richmond Borough)

Dan Quick (Eastbourne Borough)

Any others that I'm missing? Blair, Jebb, Egan, Seager, Kealy, Philpot have gone to Step 3 and there are plenty of others yet to sign anywhere (Huk, Ottaway, Black, Procter, Hollis) or playing higher.

Not exactly Wanderers related but for anyone who watches the RPV series on BOA, Tom Richards has just signed for them so will be good to watch him in the doc next season.

I am not sure if I have missed it recently, but do we know who the coaching & management team is for the new NLS season?

Surprised he has dropped to Step 4 . Saw him a couple of times at Horsham, and thought fine at that level.

Looking at the squad list we again have one keeper, but no back up in Slav this time.

I know Marc does not like to have a keeper on the bench, but does anyone know what would happen if Foulkes was injured or suspended? Who is the B team keeper and is he any good?

B team keeper not ready yet.  I believe Marc will use the loan market if a keeper is needed.

Worrying position to be in as he will only be able to sign who available at time, and not be able to do too much research. Also have to hope he never gets sent off. Never understood this policy, buy assume is to save money, so don't pay someone who will rarely play.

It makes sense if money is tight and he has no doubt increased some of the boys pay to compensate for being more full time. Therefore, need the budget spent on that.

Finding a keeper quickly on loan is not difficult to be frank. All the clubs in NLP have a couple not doing much, so easy for us to loan one for a month or two if needed. In fact last season the majority had one really good keeper sitting on the bench, so can easily loan one of those.

Mixed messaging about the new striker, Rhys Murphy in todays weekly update. He's carrying the remains of an injury from when he was at Yeovil, we're not going to rush him back, but at the same time is "looking super fit"! I'm a bit confused about that! He's either super fit, or he's not!

@dorking-eagle He said he would not play for 2 weeks either.

Seems he is dropping a bollock here by signing a 33 year old injured and injury prone forward, and the only current fit first teamers are Prior who is over the top, and Rutherford.

However, pleasing to hear him say he is acting immediately if certain players are not at the level needed. Looks like he is not going to sit around and let the side drift, as he did last season.

Yep, anyone not up to it can go on loan to our good friends at Bognor and leave this promotion push to those who are 100% committed and up for the fight.
