Hi all,
Is there any interest in running a mini prediction league - just for a bit of fun and to promote wider engagement on the Forum?
We could run one for all the Dorking games in each month, with a suitable prize for the winner each month. I have spoken to OLBG and they seem up for providing a suitable prize - shirt or merch perhaps. Format tbc, but something like a point for a correct result and 3 points for correct score. For those who enter, we could publish a league table each month. Or from first game in March to the end of the season. Might encourage more than the regulars to get involved and add a bit of competitive spice to our predictions!
What do people think? (A thumbs up will do)
If there is enough enthusiasm I'll have a word with OLBG and see what we can set up.

So, whilst the Daggers game felt like it had to be a draw, somehow we managed to lose - an outcome that only three of us predicted. So congrats to @Crawleysth, @BerkshireBob and @Wayworn Wanderer on your gloomy wisdom. One point each for you as no-one got the right score; nowt for everyone else.
I'll put a table up after Saturday. They never used to print league tables until after the third game. Always thought it is a bit pointless after a single game, but there you go.
August Mini-Prediction League Table
Here's the table after two games. @Wayworn Wanderer sneaks into an early lead, closely followed by the master of the stats, @Calvertskans, who both somehow managed to forecast a very rare DW goalless draw. Us non-scorers and those tied are in no particular order.
I'll publish a table for the separate season-long competition at the end of each month, starting in September. Good luck!
