This game is now to kick off at 12.15 . Assume as last game, all games that day will kick off same time. Bet Hartlepool fans are not pleased! Unfortunately league do not consider fans when they make these decisions. Presumably games moved for TV reasons so further games can be fitted in at 3pm in different league

It's a combination of things -

TNT (tv) want to show a game live (they have paid for the right to do this)

All the games on the last day in the division have to kick off at the same time for sporting integrity reasons

There is a Saturday 3pm tv blackout (televised games cannot be shown at that time in this country)

Therefore it's either to be played in the lunchtime slot or 5.30pm

There is an FA Cup semi live on terrestrial tv in the later slot

Therefore lunchtime it is

Harsh on travelling fans, not just Hartlepool but all across the fixtures on this day

That said we had a 12 noon at Fylde because of tv - it happens to most teams at some point, just one of those things

I’d be fuming as a Hartlepool fan. They don’t care about fans though, we all know that

Don't see why they don't just put the last weekend fixtures on a Sunday instead. That way they can keep the normal KO time and still televise.

Thats what the Premier League do for the last day.
