After frustration midweek, we take on Halifax at Meadowbank this Saturday. With only one home win in our last 5 league games at Meadowbank, this one feels like a must win, especially as Halifax currently sit bottom of the form table.

A few question marks on the fitness of some players for this one - Craig, McManus, Rutherford all have unknown return dates. Bowerman and Fuller remain out while Moore returns from suspension.

Predictions:

Dorking 2-1 Halifax (Prior, Carter)

1,752 att.

Assuming that the previously injured players are still out then I think we will see an unchanged lineup with Ottaway potentially replacing Rutherford. Possibly a return for Cook in the back 3.

Male

Francomb  Hollis  B.Taylor

Muitt  Pybus  Carter  J.Taylor  Blair

Prior  Ottaway

Subs: Cook, Kennedy, Gallagher, Briggs, Moore

Good to hear that TC and Fuller should be available. I wonder if he decides to risk them though considering the busy period we've got coming up?

I'll take a 2-0 home win. A much needed win if all the pieces can fit together. Also, by our previous results it should be a win. WLWLWLWLWL. The rollercoaster is on.

Neither team prolific goal scorers so I’ll go for that collectors item, a 1-0 home win (Carter from 3 yards) 😉

Second best all over the pitch today, even if we were 'still in the game' until late on. Hopefully the post match interview honestly reflects that. Not sure there is budget to make any new signings, the players we have already got have to be the ones to do it for us.

Grit and resolve needed to turn it around and get some points on the board.

Can't keep losing home games like this. Now in the relegation zone. Worried that team is not good enough to stay up. Continously losing games can be a real drain on confidence. Need to get something from at least two of the next 3 away games (at least one win) especially Kidderminster.

We arent in the bottom 4 yet (with Woking losing the late game) but play like that many more times and we will be.

Have to hope some teams play badly against us

I think Marc is right about dominating at 1-1, and that their first was offside, but that second yet again took the wind out of us. We can't seem to recover and it must be a bit of a confidence thing.

Stonewall penalty though - I was right in line - and if that had been converted it's a different story - again!

For me, an aging back line is becoming an issue...

@dorking-eagle more than deserve to be in the bottom 4 and maybe it will give us an extra kick but who knows. Confidence is at all all time low right now for the players and certainly is for me too as a fan.
