Attempt two at our visit to North London as we face Enfield Town under the lights on Tuesday night. The Towners currently sit 23rd in the table, 5 points off safety, with no wins in their last 5 games.

Not expecting much change in the squad for this one, but Norville-Williams and McManus both came off on Saturday with potential problems.

Predictions:

Enfield Town 0-2 Dorking (Carter, Enslin)

803 att.

                                    Foulkes

                     Camp      Annesley     L.Vincent

   Enslin        Sidwell        Pybus        Pinchard         Lewis

                             Carter

                                           Pearson

Subs: Craig, Norville-Williams, Knight, Sullivan, McManus, F.Vincent, Lawrence

Really hard to predict midfields at the moment but with some potential niggles from Saturday, I would expect some fresh legs to come in. Might be a good opportunity to give Pybus his first start in a while and Sidwell also hasn't played many minutes recently. I could also see either of the Vincents playing that LCB role if Norville-Williams isn't risked.

Had a prediction of 3-0 but Enfield just scored to make it 3-1!😬

4-2 BOSH!

Always looked a threat going forward.

8pts clear

Onto Maidenhead who concede very few, but we will be full of confidence.

First half we was in complete control and hardly got out of first gear, we knocked it around with ease. 2nd half was a much tighter affair and there was a period of squeaky bum time once Enfield pulled it back to 3-2. A big 3 points opening up a nice 8 point gap at the top, onto Maidenhead on Saturday👍

Pearson with a potential broken hand and Camp picking up a groin injury. Carter struggling towards the end as well.

Sadly could be the last points we get for a few games as we now have potentially 13 players out injured...

@dorking-eagle Yes I was very surprised to see Maidenhead 0-3 down at one point last night ,before their late rally.
Typical we may now lose Pearson after a half and a bit of football but this team keep getting results so I’m sure they’ll find a way.

Be interesting if Pearson could still play with the injured hand if there was some way of protecting it

Really enjoyable game last night, another good performance and much needed result, given the fixtures coming up. Might need that cushion.
The injury curse continues- any sign of PMac returning? - but there is enough quality out there to grind out results and find goals from somewhere.  Pinchard again outstanding and defence very solid. Let’s hope Camp and Jordan are ok for next few matches.

Really good first half performance, and at least three decent penalty appeals turned down, another ref who didn't seem to want to make any decisions.

The penalty that we got was possibly the weakest appeal  of the bunch. If it had gone in I felt we might go on to win by five or six goals.

@bethdan 💯 we bossed the first half and it looked like once we scored our first we could run riot. I thought the ref had a poor first half.

@baggy Someone told me last night that PMac has an 80% chance for making Saturday so we could see him on the bench.

Not sure Eastleigh would want to risk someone playing with a broken hand. If he fell on it then he could do some serious damage to it. Hopefully it isn't a break as it looked like he played on with it for most of the first half.

Marc said in the post match that Brennan and JNW are likely 7-10 days out so they could both miss these next couple of big away games.

I also think this Saturday is the last game of Vincent's loan? We could really do with extending that another month if possible. If not then we will 100% need to sign some sort of defensive cover as we could also see Annesley miss a game or two due to international break and I don't think Francomb or Gallagher will be fit any time soon.

I think we are probably at the stage of the season now where we need to look at recalling the likes of Tauta-Caballero, Gale and Saunders as well.

When is the transfer deadline, can't be far off?

Yes, 5pm Thursday 26th. Good result last night. A couple of draws next 2 games, or a win would be good.
