Bit of discussion about the 26/27 squad in the other thread so thought I'd move it to it's own one. I am sure we will see a retained list in the next week or so but for now, the confirmed contracted players for next season are:

Brennan Camp

Josh Taylor (injured for the first few months)

Harry Pinchard

James McShane

Seb Tauta-Caballero

Dennon Lewis

Alfie Rutherford

Jake Lawrence

Confirmed players leaving so far:

Tony Craig (retired)

Luke Moore (retired)

Niall McManus

Who would everyone keep/release for next season?

@calvertskans ah I see… I’ll wait with intrigue.

I wasn’t sure if maybe back up keeper if Sullivan heads out on loan or if tact changes with back up. Tbf, I didn’t realise Huk was not in at Welling.

Fingers crossed that Foulkes stays.

@philrigerator To be fair to Slav, he did play a big role in AFC Whyteleafe's promotion from Step 4 via the play-offs. He saved penalties in the final and won their player of the year.

I would keep Francomb on, if he is fit, as he can play anywhere and never lets anyone down.  Sadly, it is not worked out for Pybus - the other midfield options, especially Pinchard, all look more mobile and dynamic. Josh to come back in the autumn too. But I agree up front we need some more pace and muscle, and / or an out and out finisher like Casey.  Dennon and Jimmy provide enough ammunition for a couple of forwards to fire. I don't know if PMac was ever fully fit, but I was disappointed in him in the end, considering his background. Ideally, we want the option of playing up to a target man and playing through the lines as well to mobile forwards. Sounds like there will be some exciting announcements to come, although maybe not all as soon as next week.

I see Davide Rodari has been released by Sutton United. Could he be a returning Wanderer? He could take the no 9 spot.

@rh3 I was never really a fan of Rodari. He always felt like a Step 3 player to me.

I was really surprised when he got that move to Sutton midway through the season.

The club don't often get it wrong with new signings / loan players, the last one I recall  that really didn't work out was Theo Alexandrou a couple of seasons back, although he did score one great goal to win a game, then did nothing thereafter.

New pitch. New keeper (Foulkes to NL OR L2). New striker. Rest is more than OK. If the squad if fully fit, it's HMS. El plastico needs changing.

I’ve seen some Worthing fans saying Foulkes is going to them, that’d be a shame. Harrison Male is available too so he may end up staying in the NL. Not sure he’d come back to Dorking being in the NLS, if Foulkes did leave

Yes feel Step 3 is about his level. Feel not good enough for Step 2.

@gary-munnery hopefully it’s just fan chatter and Foulkes stays. But to be fair, he deserves to kick on. Hopefully it’ll be with the wanderers though!

A lot of talk that Harrison Male will go to Harrogate (now in the National League) which kind of makes sense with where his family is based.

Frank Vincent in the new kit teaser/reveal video, so can only assume he is staying on for the next season

The weekly BOA update from Rich said there are 4 new signings to be announced. The returning Wanderer he said isn’t a shock as it’s a player Marc said would return when he left.

@gary-munnery I’m just listening to it now. Hopefully retained list and reveal of new signs this or next week.
