Bit of discussion about the 26/27 squad in the other thread so thought I'd move it to it's own one. I am sure we will see a retained list in the next week or so but for now, the confirmed contracted players for next season are:

Brennan Camp

Josh Taylor (injured for the first few months)

Harry Pinchard

James McShane

Seb Tauta-Caballero

Dennon Lewis

Alfie Rutherford

Jake Lawrence

Confirmed players leaving so far:

Tony Craig (retired)

Luke Moore (retired)

Niall McManus

Who would everyone keep/release for next season?

I do remember having some concerns about what he was saying and how he was acting when he left Amersham Town - had a feeling it wouldn't end well..

That’s a shame, wonder who it could be. Archie from BOA said he met the new guy at training on Thursday but that’s as much information as he gave

Dion Conroy left Crawley earlier in the week so I wonder if it could be him?

Not sure I would prioritise a central defender signing over other areas though. Unless the plan is to play Annesley in midfield like he did the other night against Chatham.

@calvertskans Given how the end of last season played out, I'd take any extra CBs we can get!

Dion Conroy would be a good signing at this level, although he is bit slower than he used to be. However, I would expect he could get a club at National League level. There was a rumour he was training with Sutton not than long ago, when he wasn't in the squad.

Harry Forster, ex Crawley

Thought i recognised in the warm up photos. Could not believe it when saw his name on the subs bench!

One of our best players last year. Good winger, can beat players,  score goals and can play wing back too.  One of the players who always gives 100%.Was not released, just could not agree new contract. Could easily still play L2, so if signs for Dorking would be a real coup, and one of the best players to ever play for Dorking. For this level, can't praise him high enough.

Someone said it was a Crawley player last night but didn’t know who. Exciting news if he signs

Harry is only 26 and has made nearly 100 appearances for Crawley at league 2 and 1 level. Its another very good sign if he signs for next season that it will be a title winning season.

I would be surprised if Harry Forster signs as can't see Dorking affording his salary  Also he is a tricky winger, and don't think Meadowbank"s pitch would be good for him.
