Bit of discussion about the 26/27 squad in the other thread so thought I'd move it to it's own one. I am sure we will see a retained list in the next week or so but for now, the confirmed contracted players for next season are:

Brennan Camp

Josh Taylor (injured for the first few months)

Harry Pinchard

James McShane

Seb Tauta-Caballero

Dennon Lewis

Alfie Rutherford

Jake Lawrence

Confirmed players leaving so far:

Tony Craig (retired)

Luke Moore (retired)

Niall McManus

Who would everyone keep/release for next season?

Joe Wright, who briefly joined on loan last season, has joined fellow NLS side Billericay Town.

Niall McManus has signed for Horsham, as some predicted.

Great signing for them, glad he’s stayed in step 2

@tommywilms10 Might not mean much at this stage but in the training photos released today, Barrett is wearing 39 and Wood is wearing 18.

  • @calvertskans haha thanks for remembering my post. I had noticed the numbers as well. Both numbers are available I guess or they are wearing the old training kit of those who have left.

@tommywilms10 Its last seasons training kit but is being advertised as the new 26/27 training kit if anyone wants to buy it. I bought the training top last season which is the exact same for £35. Albeit this seasons is £40 and has OLBG across the back whereas ‘last seasons’ is missing the back sponsor.

@hemelwanderer I noticed they had put the price up. Really like the training gear macron produce. I bought the 1/4 zip and it’s brilliant for football training and the gym

Rich from BoA mentioned in his weekly update that Ben Bacon has left and there is a new S&C coach.

He also said someone else has left but it hasn't been announced yet. I wonder if it could be Rob Tuvey, as I can't see him in any of the training photos yet?

@calvertskans my thoughts exactly on Rob going. I am sure I heard Micky Dan has left as well

I did think they’d make a change on the S and C coach after last years injuries. Rich did mention Mick Daniel’s had left a few weeks back but it’d be a shame if Rob has gone too.

It is hardly a surprise the S&C coach was potted. After all, his one job last season was to reduce the injury rate of players.

It ended up being the worst season ever for injuries. So whatever he was doing it was worse than the S&C coaches before him, who were also potted due to their inability to reduce the injury rate.

Excluding the S&C change which is self evident, any idea what's behind the other backroom changes?
