Getting to that time of year where we can start to see the teams we will be facing next season. Obviously we don't know what league we will be in yet but we can see the confirmed teams so far for both.

NLS Confirmed Teams for 26/27 so far:

Dagenham & Redbridge

AFC Totton

Tonbridge Angels

Horsham

Slough Town

Hampton & Richmond Borough

Farnborough

Walton & Hersham (Southern Prem winners)

Folkestone Invicta (Isthmian Prem winners)

Truro City (Relegated from NL)

Braintree Town (Relegated from NL)*

Playoff places for both leagues are basically set as well, so we will see one of Gloucester, Farnham, Poole, Berkhamstead or Sholing from the Southern, and one of Aveley, Billericay, Brentwood, Chatham or Dartford from the Isthmian.

Will be interesting to see what league Gloucester go in if they win the Southern League playoffs. Recently have been in the NLN but they could switch with Braintree.

NL Confirmed Teams for 26/27 so far:

Hartlepool United

Woking

Tamworth

Wealdstone

Solihull Moors

Boston United

Altrincham

Yeovil Town

Gateshead

Sutton United

Aldershot Town

Eastleigh

Worthing likely to be added to this list, as well as either AFC Fylde or South Shields. Still not clear who will be coming down from League Two but Barrow and Harrogate Town are starting to get left behind.

@dorking-eagle Ah yes you're right, I though Harrogate and Crawley were on 38 points.

Still relatively possible though due to Barrow having a somewhat nice fixture and Crawley and Harrogate having tricky ones.

Another managerial change and an unsurprising one, after a lot of speculation in the last week Scott Davies leaves Slough to take over at Aldershot

Could be a tough old season for them next year if they don’t get the right appointment. Davies did a brilliant job with what he had

Aldershot always seem to appoint managers with a decent pedigree, it is odd they rarely challenge near the top of the table. Presumably their squad budget isn't in the top third of clubs?

@dorking-eagle Believe theyve got one of the smaller budgets out of the 24 NL clubs, its been mentioned they was impressed with Davies work hes done at Slough on shoe string budgets. Plus being an ex player made him an obvious target

Just seen P Mac has been released by Eastleigh, think he’ll sign for us?

@gary-munnery I assume so. Marc said in the pre match interview that a new signing that fans will be very happy about will be announced within a week, so I wonder if it is PMac.

Could be a big risk as I imagine his wages will be quite large and he has hardly set the world alight since he's been here...

Hemel Hempstead Town and Maidenhead United added to the confirmed NLS teams for next season.

Forest Green Rovers and Southend United added to the confirmed NL teams.

Rumour that Pmac was on a relatively high wage, so some big compromises may be needed?

Pmac will be 33 by the start of next season, so should have a couple of good years left in his, if he keeps fit. Could he be our new no 9? He has a good long through on him, but then so does Josh Taylor who, hopefully, will be back for next season. How we have missed him (and he doesn't keep throwing to the opposition goalie, unlike Pmac!!).

I honestly think Josh Taylor will struggle to get in the team ahead of Pinchard.

I don't think we'll see Josh until at least Oct/Nov at the earliest anyway

21 of the 24 teams are now known.

Only potential spanner in the works is if Gloucester win their play off and then the league transfer Oxford City or Merthyr in (would be delighted with the latter), but usually the league avoid lateral transfers unless a team has been in the same division for at least 3 seasons (neither have)

I would rather have Hornchurch lose the NLS final tbh

I really would like Torquay to go up now. Would be massively beneficial for our run next year
