Getting to that time of year where we can start to see the teams we will be facing next season. Obviously we don't know what league we will be in yet but we can see the confirmed teams so far for both.

NLS Confirmed Teams for 26/27 so far:

Dagenham & Redbridge

AFC Totton

Tonbridge Angels

Horsham

Slough Town

Hampton & Richmond Borough

Farnborough

Walton & Hersham (Southern Prem winners)

Folkestone Invicta (Isthmian Prem winners)

Truro City (Relegated from NL)

Braintree Town (Relegated from NL)*

Playoff places for both leagues are basically set as well, so we will see one of Gloucester, Farnham, Poole, Berkhamstead or Sholing from the Southern, and one of Aveley, Billericay, Brentwood, Chatham or Dartford from the Isthmian.

Will be interesting to see what league Gloucester go in if they win the Southern League playoffs. Recently have been in the NLN but they could switch with Braintree.

NL Confirmed Teams for 26/27 so far:

Hartlepool United

Woking

Tamworth

Wealdstone

Solihull Moors

Boston United

Altrincham

Yeovil Town

Gateshead

Sutton United

Aldershot Town

Eastleigh

Worthing likely to be added to this list, as well as either AFC Fylde or South Shields. Still not clear who will be coming down from League Two but Barrow and Harrogate Town are starting to get left behind.

From the outside it looks like Dennon couldn't turn down better wages and DW could quite do with the transfer fee

I get that - but as I've said elsewhere (sorry for repeating myself!) - that's not the case. This was a decision taken by us for other reasons, and is definately the right one for the club.

Agreed. I can't recall a player coming back better or even as good after an ACL - Alfie, McShane, Briggs, Reece Grego-Cox at Crawley; none better than before their injury.

Can't agree on McShane, he's been outstanding this season.

ACL injuries tend to really impact the players where pace and explosiveness plays a big part in their game. This is probably why Briggs struggled a bit when he came back.

Josh doesn't really have those parts to his game so should be fine.

We've missed Josh and his long throws.

@adeb Agreed, you’d never guess how old he is based on performance!

Farnhams new striker George Alexander netted 5 today against Braintree. Some pick up. They could be there or there about this year.

@mattywanderer He knows where the goal is. I have just watched their highlights and he scored 4 tap ins and a deflected penalty

@gary-munnery he is a good goal scorer when he’s in a purple patch but it was just his day. Like you said 4 tap ins and possibly the weirdest penalty I’ve ever seen. No team defends that badly against us

Judging by the highlights he also missed as many chances as he scored! Very weird game and Braintree looked terrible
