Getting to that time of year where we can start to see the teams we will be facing next season. Obviously we don't know what league we will be in yet but we can see the confirmed teams so far for both.

NLS Confirmed Teams for 26/27 so far:

Dagenham & Redbridge

AFC Totton

Tonbridge Angels

Horsham

Slough Town

Hampton & Richmond Borough

Farnborough

Walton & Hersham (Southern Prem winners)

Folkestone Invicta (Isthmian Prem winners)

Truro City (Relegated from NL)

Braintree Town (Relegated from NL)*

Playoff places for both leagues are basically set as well, so we will see one of Gloucester, Farnham, Poole, Berkhamstead or Sholing from the Southern, and one of Aveley, Billericay, Brentwood, Chatham or Dartford from the Isthmian.

Will be interesting to see what league Gloucester go in if they win the Southern League playoffs. Recently have been in the NLN but they could switch with Braintree.

NL Confirmed Teams for 26/27 so far:

Hartlepool United

Woking

Tamworth

Wealdstone

Solihull Moors

Boston United

Altrincham

Yeovil Town

Gateshead

Sutton United

Aldershot Town

Eastleigh

Worthing likely to be added to this list, as well as either AFC Fylde or South Shields. Still not clear who will be coming down from League Two but Barrow and Harrogate Town are starting to get left behind.

Dennon Lewis departs…. I really didn’t see that coming, especially 1/4 into the season. It felt like he was playing well and having a great time with us. Such a shame and I think we’ll really miss him.

Shocked with Dennons departure, I did feel like hes looked a shade of the player we had last season though and had that spell at the start of the season being on the bench.

Surprised hes ended up at bottom of the league Slough of all teams..

Same, bit of a shocker . Agreed on performance levels, been better lately but certainly not on the level of last year when he scored a few more too.

So Slough have had a big money injection from some Kuwait fella.

Let's hope it goes as badly for Slough as the big money injection at Chelmsford.

From the outside it looks like Dennon couldn't turn down better wages and DW could quite do with the transfer fee - the talk about travel doesn't sit right with me at all. He lived in North Holmwood until recently lol

Left ourselves really short.

And then the 'good news' is Josh Taylor signing a contract extension. That feels like madness - he isn't even kicking a ball yet. Surely we hold the cards and can wait and see what sort of player he is after he fully returns from injury?? Sadly not all players come back as strong.

Not exactly a great day for the club IMO.

@dorking-eagle 💯 is a big risk tying Taylor down for another 3 years

3 year contract as a non-league club is nuts

Look at Harry Forster and how that is going

My initial thought was good but David was bang on with that assessment.

I love Josh Taylor, he is into 'True Wanderer' territory now (remember the 0-6 defeat at Havant and then raiding them for him - 2019(?)

He has also worked so hard after his injury to get fit again. But as hard as he has worked and as brilliantly as he has done with his recovery he hasn't kicked a ball yet.

I just don't get the hurry to tie ourselves down. And if I am being brutally honest, Pinchard is a better player.

Marc is IMO overly sentimental about the longstanding players.

Buzzing for Josh, great news for him and his family - a brilliant gesture from the club.

Yet from a purely business perspective, what is the rush? Let him come back, prove himself, earn a new deal. Who knows what player he will be. Could be a masterstroke, could be incredibly sentimental.

Bit of a confusing day. We need some players otherwise we are short.
