Whilst not on sale yet, I expect match tickets to be priced at £22 (adults) if they only officially allocate us the seats again.

Thanks David.
35 quid for an adult and 11 year old 🙄
Yep it's bad isn't it. They don't want to give away fans the terrace if they don't have to because those are £18 adults.
Bet they move our noisy group to it though once they stand at the back and the drum starts.

Yep - having paid the higher prices for seats...

Excellent point made by a friend - considering the crowds they get (relative to the rest of the teams in the division) it is a piss take for Torquay to be charging £22 per ticket.
I know it is a stadium rather than a small ground, and therefore there will be higher overheads, but their matchday operation would be pretty similar to other clubs on a 'per head' basis.

17 supporters on the coach today😬 (£40)

I’m in the terrace. They said we could if we wanted to which is annoying they didn’t sell tickets for it!
@gary-munnery Have they opened the whole of the terrace to away fans or just a section?
@hemelwanderer the whole terrace is open for anyone. There’s a couple of home fans on the other side

Apparently was 14 supporters on the coach, not 17. Not sustainable really, no idea what the answer is to that.
I thought the fans on that terrace were some sort of local school ticket offer, so just stayed in the seats which to be fair are a good view, especially of the far end of the pitch.

@dorking-eagle Moving forward maybe the club should initially put on a minibus - once those seats are all sold and if there is demand for more seats then maybe look at hiring a smaller coach if possible. A quick look on Andersons website they offer 16 and 19 seater minibuses, 29 seater coach then 36-41 and 53/57 seaters so could be an idea
I guess it could be that the club has already negotiated the arrangements for the whole season, for example the team bus for every game, plus a supporter coach for so many, all for one price.
It's just such a hard thing to pitch right, a lot of the youngsters want to travel with their mates by train as that feels grown up to them, they don't particularly want to be on a coach of older folk. Also a lot of longer standing fans have become good mates and can car share to quite a lot of the games. But theres always a small core of fans who rely on it too.
