Well 1 game to go and only Worthing and Hornchurch guaranteed a place. We need one of top 2 to do us a favour next week to guarantee us a place. Alternatively a draw at Weston would do, but that looks unlike with our terrible form. Only Maidenhead or  Maidstone can deny us a place in the playoffs. If we can finish in top 5 and get a home eliminator, I think that's probably best we can do considering our form.

I think whoever is Champions in NLN, they will be okay in the NL, just a gut feeling that momentum will follow a strong season.

@dorking-eagle I think Fylde would fair better than South Shields. Worthing with the right additions could also stay up, Hornchurch would be certs to come straight back down IMO

So we have a home Eliminator against Maidenhead next Wednesday. Could have so much better, but at least we are in the playoffs.

Torquay away awaits the winner!

For the eliminator I see Maidenhead tweeting that they have been allocated 25% of our ground, so prob about 1000

In reality I would be amazed if they bring more than 400 quiet souls

At least their fans are buying off our website, so we can see what they have sold at all times, and in theory if their sales are well under their allocation, then give more to our own fans.

For the potential Torquay away game, I am not massively against a 1230 ko, as it means a very early start, ie ahead of the Bank Holiday traffic

Only main issue for me and my family is if the match and coach tickets go on sale when I am away in Poland for the Conferenxe semi. Hopefully both dont sell out super quick before I can get online...

Any final would surely be away at Hornchurch?

@dorking-eagle Yeah surely 300-400 for Maidenhead, they don’t normally travel in large numbers do they.

Id forgotten about the bank holiday so yes, early KO is perfect from that point of view . Probably shouldn’t think about it too much, could all go wrong again 😂

@dorking-eagle Final would be away at Hornchurch should they beat the winners of Hemel vs Weston. If they lose and we win both games then it would be a home playoff final at Meadowbank..

By the way, 3 great reason to be pleased that Worthing have gone up today,

Firstly, delighted for the hard working people at the club who have built something very special there, not just the nice new stand, but the whole club.

Second, so glad they aren't in the play offs, you could bet they'd get some annoying last minute winner in it!

Thirdly, the feral teenage followers that are an utter PITA yet their club never seem to ban them or do anything to control or manage them will get several absolute hidings next season, and not before time!

Something tells me that there might just not be any of them there...
