I have been watching back some old episodes of BoA and matches of when we still had momentum as a team, to go through the leagues. Also known as the good old days.

The common denominator is that Marc had Mark Beard by his side giving him good advice and good advice to the players.

The two most successful seasons in the clubs history happened under Mark Beard. We got relegated when he left and are now 2 seasons down in the NLS, with only a lottery chance of getting back up again.

The issue I have is that money is being spent but we have 2 lads as first team coaches who are extremely inexperienced. They have no coaching experience in the senior game above step 6 level. One has zero experience with men, why is he there after the disaster of last season?

This is a real concern for me, as Marc just wont listen to them, and therefore cannot even use them to help him, as its all on him. Why employ people to be nobodies when you make all the decisions yourself anyway, might as well appoint Doris as coach.

Does Marc need to appoint someone with a bit of real footballing experiencing next season? League 2 and up please.

Ive seen a post before cant remember if it was on here or twitter about the number of coaching staff we have on the bench compared to some other teams who have far less. Its a shame we couldnt get Dennis Kutrieb full time as him and MW would be a quality combo imo

Pretty sure Rob was assistant manager and had other first team coaching roles at Wimbledon while they were in League One.

I wouldn't be opposed to adding a bit more experience to the coaching team (Dennis K for example), but I think this is a harsh reflection on Rob and Jordan who both did very well last season and, bar an injury catastrophe late in the season, would have got us to the NL.
