We move on to Aldershot Town away where 3 points is now literally a must. Aldershot have 2 wins and a draw from their last 5 games but are coming off the back of a 4-0 defeat with 9 men yesterday against Maidenhead.

You would imagine the squad looks identical to Bromley on Friday but will Marc decide to risk Dan Pybus? Rotation of the starting XI is expected after the comments Marc made post match so I am expecting the likes of Kuhl, Blair, Rutherford, Muitt and possibly Ottaway to start.

Predictions:

Aldershot 3-3 Dorking (Rutherford, Blair, Kuhl)

3,812 (301 away) attd.

                            Male

           Fuller         Craig        B.Taylor

Muitt          J. Taylor        Kuhl           Blair

                           Carter

                 Ottaway    Rutherford

Subs: Philpot, Hollis, Bowerman, Moore, Prior

AdeB 5-2 loss wow.

I can't see nothing but a home win on Monday.

They have such a attacking threat,  Tolaj and Stokes have 42 goals between them.  Good wingers. It's doesn't matter how many we score they will score more.

I personally think we are done and i get no pleasure in saying  this because I think we could of stayed up this season but for injuries,  bad management decisions and playing to our strengths and with the players we have.

@happy-hammers It's that attacking threat vs our defence. Perhaps the best approach might be to outscore them - they have a habit of conceding goals too...

I agree with Ade B and Gary. I can't  see anything but a big home win. Team/management seems to be in a bad place at moment, and sadly can't  see us winning enough games to stay up .

Aldershot have only conceded one goal less than we have this season. We can definitely out score them if we take our chances.

@calvertskans Loving the optimism Tom, and I kind of agree. Let's go for it!

A good burger and chips before the game, a nice hotel afterwards and anything from the game is a bonus.

Up the Wands.

Since the York game we have been 1-1-6, which is 4 points from 8 games and that is wooden spoon bottom of the table form.

Cannot see any result here other than another heavy loss. A number of the players in the squad look mentally gone.

I am going to be optimistic and say Aldershot 1-Dorking 2! perhaps wishful thinking

I've only started following Dorking this season and attending matches, i can't believe Dorking are 23rd from when i came to my first game against Rochdale back in September. It seems bad luck, injuries and lack of conviction in games could really cost us this season.

Looking at the fixtures after Aldershot on Monday then there's a chance the great escape could be on IF we win...don't right off the Wanderers!

@jacksonfairweather 1-2-6 (draws against Kiddy and Solihull) but yeah, fair point.

The most concerning thing is only 1 goal scored in the last 4 games. We had more than enough chances to get results against Bromley, Solihull and Alty. Could have probably nicked a draw against Southend with those late chances as well.

The ball just won't go in ☹️

Anyone getting the train there from Dorking? If so any plans for fans meeting up before hand and getting a certain train?
