Bit of discussion about the 26/27 squad in the other thread so thought I'd move it to it's own one. I am sure we will see a retained list in the next week or so but for now, the confirmed contracted players for next season are:

Brennan Camp

Josh Taylor (injured for the first few months)

Harry Pinchard

James McShane

Seb Tauta-Caballero

Dennon Lewis

Alfie Rutherford

Jake Lawrence

Confirmed players leaving so far:

Tony Craig (retired)

Luke Moore (retired)

Niall McManus

Who would everyone keep/release for next season?

Rumour that Jack Spong might be going to Horsham.

Surprised we're not more interested considering the injuries to Pinchard and Taylor and the loss of Moore and McManus...

Can only assume he wants to go part time and stay in the Sussex area...

Went down to the Horsham v Eastleigh match last night.  Consensus seemed to be that the squad was set and there would be no more signings.  But you never know.  Nadesan looked decent, whilst Sam Howes had a howler for Eastleigh's second goal.  New pitch was playing as slow as Meadowbank.

I was actually at the Horsham v Eastleigh game too. Agree new pitch played like Meadowbank and seemed to be worse than previous one. Sam Howes had a poor game and was replaced at half time by a young keeper. Crawley's 3rd keeper from last year was also there. On the Horsham Twitter feed they actually denied that Trialist D, No 19 was Jack Sprong!. He had a great game though and scored a cracking free kick.

Just seen Marc’s post match interview from yesterday, quite scathing of the youngsters and trialists.
He did mention about looking at the loan market for cover rather than rushing back half fit players

As you say, he seemed rather critical of the Academy players. As he said perhaps he needs to bring in a few on loan to cover temporary gaps, rather than play so many Academy players at the same time.

Squad list now released. As usual only 1 keeper, but includes youngsters Grass, Sullivan and McIntyre

I guess Max Foulkes may be the warmup/backup keeper but could possibly go out on loan again. No word on where Morris is at all so far

@hemelwanderer He looked good, shame he might move on so quickly. Good for him though obviously

Harrison Foulkes has signed for Worthing. This feels disappointing
