Dorking Wandering
The Dorking Wanderers FC Fans Forum
A new one to visit for us all, as W&H only moved to the Elmbridge Sports Hub in 2017.
People say it very much has the feel of a council leisure centre and is probably the most basic ground we'll visit in the league this season, but the main thing is the game and the three points!
Supporters travel by minibus departs Dorking at 12.00 and costs £10 per person (return fare) dwfc.ticketco.events/uk/en/e/supporters_travel_to_walton_and_hersham/web

Forecast not looking great for Saturday…
@gary-munnery Looking likely we will be getting wet in the away section🌧️
5 minibus seats remain for a ground which is a long way from the nearest station!

From Walton & Hersham FC:
Please note your supporters will not be able to pay on the gate on Saturday, and should pre book tickets.

I got an e-mail from W & H yesterday to say that it WOULD be possible to buy away tickets at the gate.
By the way David, why do I have to reset my password every time I try to log in to this site? It doesn't recognise my password.
Ollie at DWFC asked me to share that. For all I know it could be as much of an all ticket game as most DW home games are - ie just a cunning rouse to get as many as possible to pre-pay...
No idea about you logging out, mine always stays logged in, can any other mods suggest anything?

I'm hearing that it's no longer segregated (via X, so not a club source) - can anyone confirm?
@adeb Hope so, don’t need segregation. Least we can get some cover if the heavens open
Would be delighted if it isn't, so that I can take cover in the seats!
But even earlier today DW were tweeting about it being all ticket for away fans
TBH, I don't think W&H know what they are doing...

Apparently its not segregated due to places leisure closing the bar / temporary one that had been set up for away fans. If thats true and we get the forecasted rain, I’d imagine trying to get a seat in the covered stand will be a free for all
DW have again just tweeted that it is segregated and all ticket for away fans. Not sure if true.
If it isn't segregated then we should all pile into a big chunk of their covered seated stand as early as possible and make a din under the only roof in the ground

Just been on their fans online forum, lots of conflicting messages..
One saying the bar is closed https://waltonandhershamfc.boards.net/thread/3878/bars-closed-on-29th either because of staff safety (Places for Leisure reason), or because the boycott makes it unviable (depending who you believe)
And then another thread where it goes back and forth on whether it is segregated or not
Anyone got anything official (not too bothered about missing a pint)

Do we know where the minibus departs for this one?
Usually the minibus goes from the ground but it says High Street on the website.
Sorry Tom not sure. Would go to the ground early and if the minibus is in the car park, wait for it there.
ALSO...been officially confirmed that todays game is NOT segregated (early birds get the roof lol)
