Booked x2. Last doorstep away of the season for me, was spoilt for choice having Boreham Wood, St Albans, Hemel and Chesham last season!
That said Enfield, Slough and Maidenhead are relatively close
If you arrive nice and early, the nearby pub the Red Lion is a short walk from the ground, and has the lunchtime football on the telly's
There is also a pedestrianised High Street...

Food and drink options aren't great on the High Street, Greggs is about the highlight to be honest, or you might be able to get a sandwich at the Sainsbury's at the far end.
As for the ground, well if you like concrete terracing then you are in heaven, as there is absolutely tons of it on 3 sides of the ground.
Including at the turnstiles end of the ground some really unusual circular concrete steps!

A decent sized clubhouse is on the same side of the ground as the seated stand

I particularly enjoy a visit to the club shop, which is at the turnstiles end of the ground, as it has loads of old programmes to rummage through!

Whilst Chesham is on the London Underground (it is the last stop on the Metropolitan line), it is actually about 40 miles from central London, and so rolling Buckinghamshire countryside is the backdrop to the ground

There are only 284 seats in the ground, so the old days of having to have 500 seats at Step 2 level must be a thing of the past.

The ground does have bucketloads of character, and it'll be unsegregated. You can enjoy a beer in view of the pitch, and you can't beat an away day so see you there!

One of my favourite away days this one (partly for nostalgic reasons - I was a regular visitor in the 90s when living in Watford) but also as it's such a characterful ground in a great setting.
Recommended!
@adeb Did you ever used to go watch Watford? I was a season ticket holder but have lost all interest and been following Dorking the last 5 years now.
@hemelwanderer Yes! I was a season ticket holder from the early eighties (first match 1979!) through to the mid/late nineties and for a while lived within walking distance of Vicarage Road.
Fell out of love with the club when prices went through the roof, ownership changes and managers in and out with no community connection any more - and then got moved away to wonderful Surrey...
Ah bit before my time, first game was in 2003 Rotherham at home I was 6 at the time as the club used to send out cheap tickets to the local schools, had a season ticket for years and begun to lose interest from the first season in the Premier League. Discovered Dorking through bunch of amateurs as I was already following the channel from the Charlwood vids. Nowadays dont even look out for the Watford scores
