The long trip to Devon awaits tomorrow night as we face promotion rivals Torquay United at Plainmoor. The Gulls have struggled in recent weeks, seeing them slip to 7th in the league on 64 points. They have 2 wins from their last 5 games.

Sounds like this will be a bit of free hit game with Marc announcing he will be resting a fair few players in order to focus on the games ahead. McManus limped off in the first half against Maidenhead and Lewis followed shortly after half time meaning both would be big doubts for this. Marc did announce that Prior could be back for Hemel on Saturday with Pat Casey potentially back for the Easter period.

Still no update on the likes of Moore and Francomb or if we are likely to see McShane, Muitt and Gallagher again this season.

Predictions:

Torquay 3-1 Dorking (McCallum)

3,092 att.

                                Foulkes

       Sullivan     Annesley      Craig     L.Vincent

                        Pybus        Sidwell

           Enslin           Pinchard          Pearson

                                Carter

Subs: Knight, F.Vincent, Grass, Lewis, Lawrence, McCallum, Rutherford

Marc announced an academy player may be making his debut for this one. The only area I would expect to see this happen would be in defence as we seemingly have enough senior players in other areas. I don't think we've really had any other academy players around the squad so we could potetially see someone like Ted Sullivan start at the back.

Not sure if Liam Vincent is still at the club as it is a month today since he joined on a one month deal (not sure if @adeb can confirm?) but I can see either Vincent playing in that position.

Would have bitten your hand off for a point before the game and at 2-1 but at the same time it does feel like a bit of an opportunity missed as were so dominant for 70+ mins of that game. We really needed a second goal in the first half when we had the wind with us but oh well.

Don't think we used subs very well as it felt like we needed some fresh legs in midfield just before they scored but Sidwell and Knight went unused yet again.

Stats:

Possession: Torquay 43% - 57% Dorking

Shots (OT): Torquay 17 (7) - 12 (4) Dorking

xG: Torquay 1.06 - 1.26 Dorking

Long Balls: Torquay 58 - 46 Dorking - Our 2nd lowest of the season

Top Performer (Dorking): Kai Enslin [7.5]

Exactly this, said it in the ground at the time
