Can't be bothered to do a match thread for every pre-season game so will just do one for all of them.
We start with a trip to the West Sussex coast tomorrow as we face step 4 side, Bognor Regis Town.

An entertaining game this afternoon against a team we should dominate. Marc has said the team looks undercooked after Dulwich and I completely agree. It is hard to tell from pre-season friendlies when the first XI have hardly played together at all, but it has all looked a bit untidy and lacking in penetration to me. Today's first 5 minutes was a lesson in how not to play out from the back when the opposition are fresh and pressing high, but it got much better after that.
In terms of the players, I though Macca has head and shoulders today; his pass for the second goal was absolute quality. Alfie look fit but should have had a couple of goals; Pybus still not doing enough for me to dictate the play; I am not yet persuaded that Wood and Forster will be up to the impact of Muitt and Lewis, but let's see. Forster took his goal well but I haven't seen him roast his full back and ping a cross over yet. I think it might be a slow start to the season, again, while people get fit and learn to play together, but there is enough quality across a fully fit squad to keep us in the mix hopefully.
Jonathon Page - who was the trialist who played 90 mins last night and a few minutes against Charlton - is a very good player and I really hope we look to get him on board this week. Really fills that void left in midfield by the injured Pinchard and Taylor as well as the departed McManus and Moore.
Spent time at Walton & Hersham and Yeovil last season. Also featured at Aldershot, Farnborough and Hampton in the past. Looks like has really struggled with injuries in recent years though.
Still mentally scarred by that all black colour scheme last night! Literally every fence, wall, building and structure was black! Even the pitch perimeter boards were ALL black!
Even that shipping container terrace behind the goal was entirely black inside and outside!
I hope and pray that our all black tv gantry isn't the start of something similar at Meadowbank!! 🤣 So depressing, and quite wierd considering it isn't even the club colours there!

Pre-season super team Chatham Town lost their opening game 3-1 while Bracknell Town lost 7-0 away to Plymouth Parkway and Lewes lost 4-0 at home to Enfield.
Leatherhead, Bognor Regis, Dulwich and Jersey all won their opening games.
Lewes lost 4-0 at home to Enfield
Shame, that. Really want them to do well, away day heaven, that one
