Club said 3 new signings today, first at 9am. Tweet last night indicated first may have been involved in World Cup qualifiers this month (presumably for lower ranked country).

As I guessed, Frank Vincent, midfielder. Another good experienced signing. Winger or striker next please.

Two great signings for sure.

Having a ball playing centre back is key to DW style of play and for all his defensive and organisational brilliance, that is not TC’s strength. I can’t see Marc departing from a back 3 as his default setting, but great to have more options there anyway.  I wonder who is the best player Louie has marked 🤔

Last one must be Dennon Lewis.
Really excited for the coming season now, couple of exciting signings

Louie is a decent level of footballer, you don't operate within the Blackburn rovers youth set up as he did for 2 seasons at the age he was,  unless you can play. I think that will really help defensively to have his youth, energy and fitness at the back. However, clearly need a DM in there as cover if playing a back 3 otherwise it is bombs away on the defensive transition as it was too many times late on last season against us. We cannot complain about shipping goals late unless there is a DM in there.

Vincent is clearly a quality signing having operated at National League for 4 seasons, played bits at League 2 and also is 26 (so at his athletic prime). The question is where does he fit in. Is he going to be a LM and CM from time to time as he is naturally left footed.

The first choice 3 at the start of last season in CM was Josh Taylor, Charlie Carter and Dan Pybus. At the end of season it was Josh Taylor and Charlie Carter with Dan Pybus on the side lines despite telling people he was fit but not ever getting a game.

Lets see how that CM area develops next season too as more competition there now, as you have 4 decent lads in there all able to put a shift in.

Next signing will be a CF.

I believe that might be a certain Mbappe - though I could be wrong!

Louie certainly came on as a sub in the 60th minute, in the June 2023 game (a Euro 2024 qualifier) where France beat Gib 3-0

And Mbappe played the whole game and wasn't subbed off. So that's a good shout Ade.

Last signing to be announced tomorrow morning.  Looking at the video on twitter it could be ex Crawley player, recently been playing locally in National League, but I could be wrong.

@jacksonfairweather From the interview and write up, it seems that Vincent might play left winger role, instead of midfielder.

Dennon Lewis confirmed. Loads of experience at higher levels, should be a quality addition.

You were right! Not the player I thought (Reece Grego-Cox) but he has played for Crawley too.

Looks like he will play as winger mainly on left?

Three great signings all with NL experience  Welcome to Dorking, Louie, Frank and Dennon.

Dennon Lewis is in the building!

But we are still short up top. What are we going to do in terms of cover for Alfie or Jason? Rely on loans? Rely on Carter as a utility striker?

Wow, three fantastic signings. Probably the best group of summer signings I've seen since following Dorking. Especially when you look at what is going on down the road. Shaping up to be a great season, perhaps one more attacking player required.

Never going to get out if this league without a decent striker.
we all know the score. Prior will play 90 regardless whether he’s having a good game or not.

I personally would have taken a punt on Dominic Poleon who’s been released from Ebbsfleet. Proven goal scorer at this level

I'll have a Guinness

Quite a few comments on twitter saying Dennon is injury prone and will hardly play for us. I hope they are wrong. People said that about Murphy a year ago and were on the money.

@steve1966 Big problem with signing a new striker - he likely won't play a full 90 and won't be first choice as it will prob be Prior/Rutherford - best option would be an up and coming (ideally one of our) youth players who's happy on the bench?
