After 3 points on Saturday, we're on the road again as we face Hornchurch. The Urchins currently sit top of the league unbeaten on 16 points.
Marc announced in his update that Luke Moore returns to the squad for the game and that Annesley and Norville-Williams are both relatively close to a return, while McManus and Francomb remain a few weeks away. He also mentioned that a couple of players are missing through illness and Seb Tauta-Caballero has joined Leatherhead on loan.

Hornchurch has scored 3 goals in all their 3 home games this season and won them all. In Harry Hearn they have a very hungry and effective young striker at this level.
Just watching their highlights and they score from a variety of different patterns of play.
We will need to be at our best here to get a point.
I am siding with a 2-1 Hornchurch win here with the Dorking Wanderers goal coming from Camp.
To get a result here we would need to have a standout defensive performance. A shame Annesley is not available for the 7th game running. Piss poor on his part to be honest, when we most needed him. The Gibraltar International games must be coming soon.
@jacksonfairweather He tore his quad, not sure what else you want him to do?
He is not in the Gibraltar squad for this international break so has nothing to do with that.
When the injury happened, it was announced that it would be around 6 weeks out and tomorrow night will be 7 weeks since then so fairly accurate.
Tough game expected, was close to saying home win but will say 1-1 , Alfie for us
I feel a draw is the most likely outcome today and a point on the road at the current league leaders many would take if offered before kick off.
Interestingly, a quick peak at the Hornchurch forum reveals most if not all more than happy with a point tonight, viewing it as thier biggest challenge yet....
A new pink 4th kit seemingly making its debut tonight!
Do we really need a pink kit?
I assume Hornchurch are quite a different outfit to last year. Game there was a hard watch.
But pitch will presumably be better. I am going 2-2. Camp and Alfie.

Any reason why Tom? I’m surprised about a pink kit, when I thought the black would have sufficed. Don’t Hornchurch wear blue and white quartered shirts?
I'll have a Guinness
Maybe they felt all 3 kits clashed with that Hornchurch shirt.
Also, it is a good way for the club to generate some more revenue I guess.
@calvertskans was thinking exactly the same thing regarding revenue

@steve1966 Hornchurch home kit is red and white, expected us to be in the black kit tonight as a given.

They changed their home colours to red and white for this season.
The home and white shirt clash with that kit and the black kit is apparently too dark for a night game (it is quite dark at their ground from memory) hence the need for a new kit.
I would argue that a pink kit will clash with theirs as well but oh well...
