It's that time of the year again for our annual trip to Horsham.

Seriously..... Who do we want to draw tomorrow.

I know David wants Jersey Bulls away.

Me personally would plump for someone like Cray Valley Paper Mills away

I'm with David - nice overseas trip... 🤣

Failing that, the lowest rank club - home or away - who is that btw?

I believe these are the teams in our zone that we can draw. I don't think this is 100% confirmed but is apparently the likely split for our area:

67 Chichester City 7 I P
68 Ashford Town (Middlesex) 9 CC PN
69 Steyning Town 9 SC P
70 Bracknell Town 7 S PS OR Dartford 7 I P
71 Chertsey Town 7 S PS
72 Folkestone Invicta 7 I P
73 Cray Valley (Paper Mills) 7 I P
74 Deal Town 8 aI SE
75 Faversham Town 8 I SE OR Hastings United 8 I SE
76 Ashford United 8 I SE
77 Burgess Hill Town 7 I P
78 Soul Tower Hamlets 9 ESS
79 Egham Town 8 I SC
80 Epsom & Ewell 9 CC PS
81 Cray Wanderers 7 I P OR Hanwell Town 7 S PS
82 Bedfont Sports 8 I SC
83 Welling United 7 I P
84 Farnham Town 7 S PS
85 Whitstable Town 9 SCE P
86 Hackney Wick 9 ESS
87 A.F.C. Croydon Athletic 8 I SE
88 Westfield 8 I SC
89 Walton & Hersham 7 S PS
90 Carshalton Athletic 7 I P OR Wingate & Finchley 7 I P
91 Flackwell Heath 8 S C
92 Jersey Bulls 8 I SE
93 Chatham Town 7 I P
94 Hayes & Yeading United 8 I SC OR Whitehawk 7 I P
140 Chesham United 6 S
141 Dorking Wanderers 6 S
142 Dover Athletic 6 S
143 Eastbourne Borough 6 S
144 Ebbsfleet United 6 S
145 Farnborough 6 S
146 Hampton & Richmond Borough 6 S
147 Horsham 6 S
148 Maidenhead United 6 S
149 Maidstone United 6 S
150 Slough Town 6 S
151 Tonbridge Angels 6 S
152 Worthing 6 S

So there are six Step 5 teams remaning (Ashford Town, Steyning Town, Soul Tower Hamlets, Epsom & Ewell, Whitstable Town, Hackney Wick) - I would take any of these home or away

I'd also take most of the Step 4 teams home or away (would rather not have to fly to Jersey to be honest...)

I'd probably take most of the Step 3 teams at home but would rather avoid the likes of Walton & Hersham, Farnham, Chichester, Chatham, etc.

Definitely want to avoid the other NLS teams at this point but there are a couple I wouldn't mind playing at home (Slough, Tonbridge, etc).

Just please no Horsham or Hayes & Yeading...

Prediction: Slough Town (A)

Thanks Tom, that makes it a bit clearer

Like you I don’t want another NLS team

Cray Valley away would be great
Are Westfield the team from the Woking area?

@steve1966 Yeah, Westfield are about 10 mins south of Woking station and have a nice little ground by the leisure centre.

Not bad - definitely better draws but could be much worse.

Wingate currently second bottom of the league below and Carshalton not much higher. We obviously recently beat Carshalton at Meadowbank back in May as well.

Interestingly, most of the NLS avoided eachother; Farnborough v Dover and Totton v Torquay were the only all-NLS ties. This makes an NLS draw much more likely in the next round should we advance.

Wingate & Finchley beat Carshalton 3-2 last night in their replay meaning we will host them at Meadowbank next Saturday. They currently sit second bottom of the league below with just 1 point from their first 5 games.

The inevitable banana skin tie then

Wingate are a better side than their league position suggests. They came 11th in the league last season and were pushing for playoffs for most of it. They also have a side that mostly consists of ex-NLS players.
