Back at Meadowbank looking for a 4th straight win as we face Enfield Town tomorrow night. The Towners currently sit in 20th place in the table with 12 points having won just 1 of their past 5 games.

No Monday update from Marc but his interviews over the weekend suggested that Pybus and Francomb might return to training this week and that Carter won't be much further behind. He also mentioned that Prior should return for this one after missing out at the weekend as well.

Predictions:

Dorking 3-1 Enfield Town (Rutherford x 2, McShane)

1187 att.

                      Foulkes

        Camp       Storey   Norville-Williams

  Muitt        Taylor          Vincent        Lewis

                       McShane

              Rutherford       Prior

Subs: Craig, Annesley, Gallagher, Moore, Sullivan, Jacks, Marquez

I would like to see Marquez started for this one. Its a home game against a team in 20th and we need someone to stick it in. JP9 has failed with that task this season.

The he offers other things argument falls flat, when you are at home to a poor team in the league and need a bit of acceleration in advanced areas to get on the end of crosses. Our conversion rate has been shite in large part because one of our CF's is not quick enough to get on the end of anything, sorry just calling it out.

Otherwise that line up looks good enough to get the job done and 3 points.

Bring JP9 after 70 minutes or leave him at home, whatever. This is a results business.

I think he starts JP9 as the OP does and Marquez gets hauled on after 70 minutes and we end up winning 2-1. Goals from Marquez and Lewis.

I would love to know what his appearance fee is because at times he jogs around the pitch like he is carrying a serious knock, but has to get around as he is on £2k per appearance...

We are 6th in the division for goals scored so it's not doom and gloom, especially as Marquez likes to have shots too.

Jason is 37 and at the start of LAST season the plan was to rotate him with Murphy so more than a year on he is holding up well but will now benefit from not always having to play full 90s. That said I'd guess it's Alfie's turn to get some respite against Enfield.

2-1 to Wanderers, crowd of 1450

2-0 to Dorking, Marquez and Rutherford. Would like to see those two start together, and then Prior come on if need to later. Crowd 1178.

Team in good form, lowly opposition not. All the signs point towards a comfortable home win.
So, 2-2, with injury time equaliser to save a point. It’s never easy!

I can see any combination of Prior, Rutherford, Marquez starting but it does depend somewhat on what issue Prior had at the weekend. If he was injured then I can probably see him being on the bench but if it was just a personal issue or something then I think he will likely start. He would be fresh and would be helpful against Enfield who are a fairly big, physical side.

We have to remember that Marquez is still very young and only been at the club at a few days. He likely only started on Saturday due to necessity. Ideally we would be able to give Rutherford a rest at some point during the match and Marquez is probably the better like-for-like sub.

Enfield only sold 30 tickets in advance so I heard

Unusual game. Before Alfie went off injured it was fast paced with some really exciting breakaways and looked like it could be a comfortable win.

After that injury it slowed down significantly and was a lot more grind.

Good to see the team are able to get results like that over the line even if it's not pretty - game management is a quality that successful teams need to be good at.

Understand its ligament damage for Alfie, hopefully not out for too long, but apparently could be Christmas.

Crowd was on the lean side at 1036, presumably Brockham Bonfire this weekend and other local fireworks displays are competing for spectators with other attractions like DWFC

4 straight wins and Meadowbank a fortress too, up to 5th and against 19th placed Farnborough next. Very promising stuff.

Good hard fought win, but should have put game to bed earlier  Lennon and Norville Williams excellent, and Marquez looked good. Hopefully  Alfie not too badly injured. Up to 5th but table very tight.

82 minutes there was a brilliant cross by Muitt and how we didn't score from it I don't know. Some day it is all going to click and we will get a big score.

Should have been more comfortable than that after a 58 second goal vs weak opponents but another solid performance and great 3 points.

Some brilliant performances again: Dennon and Jordan both outstanding and Vincent not far behind. Defence very tight so shame about the goal. Roll on Farnborough!

Poor Alfie - looked absolutely gutted walking off. The Raging Bull looks like he will have a run at it  now
