A third straight Tuesday night game as we travel to the Sussex coast to face Eastbourne Borough. The Sports have had a tough campaign so far as they currently sit 23rd in the table on 28 points. However, they did pick up a big 3 points at the weekend as they beat our title rivals Torquay United 4-2 at Priory Lane.

Marc announced that 2 new signings will be revealed today (one loan, one perm) which will give a much needed boost to the depleted squad. Brennan Camp and George Knight both face suspensions but those don't kick in until this weekend. Niall McManus is also now a doubt after picking up a knee injury at Maidstone. There was no news on the return dates of Carter, Pybus or Gallagher.

Predictions:

Eastbourne 2-2 Dorking (Rutherford, Sidwell)

947 att.

                        Foulkes

   Camp     Annesley     Craig    Norville-Williams

                Knight        Sidwell

     Enslin            Moore            Lewis

                      Rutherford

Subs: Francomb, Vincent, New, Grass, Sullivan, New, Prior

Exciting news with the new signings, badly needed. Surprised Marc didn’t mention Pybus or Carter again, maybe will on Thursdays update .

He did say we’ll be going with a strong team none the less so I’ll say we’ll pip it 1-2.

Goals for Alfie and Kai

Pybus and Carter were both running before the Maidstone game, so can't be too far off.

TWO new signings is immense - the club is really chucking the kitchen sink at making the most of this opportunity of promotion! 🤩

Lots of experience at this level including most of last season at Tonbridge. Also can play left wing and scored 9 goals for them last season.

Good to see club are recruiting a few to help us over the last couple of months. Makes sense considering the position we are in.

He's just come back from a 4 month long injury. I imagine Sutton see this as a bit of a fitness loan for him.

Ankle injury apparently

Not sure that'll appreciate our pitch

Another signing incoming at 4pm.......

Gloucester fans seem to be really disappointed to lose Pinchard now. Hopefully another good acquisition

By all accounts he was the best player in the Southern Prem, so it sounds like a really good signing. Some much needed creativity in midfield in the absence of Carter, McShane, Taylor, Muitt, etc. Rare to see us pay a fee for a player as well!

Will be interesting to see if either starts tomorrow but I would assume not due to only being at the club a couple of days. Would expect Vincent to rotate with Dennon and Pinchard to rotate with Moore/Sidwell.

Let’s hope both the news lads can stay injury free and contribute positively, and that then other key players will come back.

Only 14 games left with a 6 point cushion over 2nd. It’s a big opportunity to go up automatically.

@jacksonfairweather To be top 6 points clear after the season weve had so far with injuries is really impressive. Its a case of what if, imagine we didnt have half of the injuries to certain players we could be running away with the league. Heres hoping from now til the end of the season we see players return, the rotten luck of injuries dry up and start picking up some away wins then who knows..🏆
