Dorking Wandering
The Dorking Wanderers FC Fans Forum
The first of back-to-back visits to Kent, as we travel to the Crabble Athletic Ground to face Dover Athletic this Saturday. The Whites currently sit 1 point and 1 place above us in the table and are currently on a run of 5 straight wins.
No weekly update yet but the injury report suggests both Annesley and Pybus should be fit enough for at least the bench, while Jimmy Muitt nears a return as well. Taylor, Gallagher, Forster and Grass remain mid-long term absentees.
Predictions:
Dover 1-1 Dorking (Rutherford)
1,016 att.
Morris
Camp Philpot Ilesanmi
Wood Pybus Pinchard Lewis
Barrett
Nikaj Rutherford
Subs: Annesley, Sayers, Francomb, Vincent, Tauta-Caballero, McShane, Rogalski
I think it’ll be a 2-2 draw
Nikaj and Barrett
I really hope it's a good crowd from both home and away fans, but not unreasonably some of ours will sack it off in favour of the FA Cup visit a week later, which is by far the star attraction.
Looking at their home attendances so far this season in the league, bearing in mind who they have played so far they will be very lucky to get 1000, even if DW are always game of the day wherever they play.
Got feeling we won't see Jimmy Muitt just yet, a B team game might be the best place to break him in?
Taking heart from the clean sheet against Chatham I am going for a 2-0 win for Dorking.
"Why would I leave to join a League Two club? We're going there anyway!" - Marc White
Dover Athletic (1) 2 Dorking W (1) 2 Barratt, Rodalski
975 (141 Dorking - will be double that next week at least I'd say)
Dover 0-2 Dorking
Nikaj, Barrett
2-1 Wanderers
Feeling a little wild, and thinking 3-1 to Wanderers. The front strikers are doing well, and I'm hoping the back continues their solid form. Morris had a really good game last week, and I hope he continues with it and help organize the back.
