The final game of the season awaits as we face Chesham United at Meadowbank on Saturday. The final day could see us end anywhere from Champions to 6th place and a resulting midweek eliminator next week. The Generals actually visit us in good form as they sit in 14th place with 3 wins from their last 5.

Dorking will be crowned champions if we beat Chesham and the following miracle takes place:

Truro lose at home to St Albans

Torquay lose away at Hemel Hempstead

Eastbourne draw or lose at home to Weston-super-Mare

Worthing draw or lose away at Enfield

Boreham Wood draw or lose away at Tonbridge or they win by 3+ less goals than we do

Josh Taylor returns from suspension but it is unclear if Marc will choose to rest some players with a likely playoff eliminator and/or potential semi-final looming next week. Wouldn't surprise me to see the likes of Prior, Craig, Muitt, etc rested and Camp looked as though he picked up an injury right at the end of the game on Monday.

Predictions:

Dorking 3-1 Chesham (Rutherford, Taylor, Murphy)

2,198 att. (84 away)

                                  Foulkes

              Francomb      Gallagher     Milsom

     Briggs     Williams  Pybus   Taylor   Norville-Williams

                        McShane      Rutherford

Subs: Craig, Moore, McManus, Carter, Murphy

A trip to Torquay in the sunshine awaits the winner. That would be a hell of a day but one step at a time.

A supporter coach to Borehamwood will be running, bookable from Monday morning

It was Alfie who scored first and not Macca wasn’t it? I’m confused as I swear it was Alfie when i saw it live but the socials all say Macca

@gary-munnery It was Alfie - I was standing right by that post - and we all were confused when they announced McShane.

I thought from where I sat Alfie bundled it in. You would think he would claim it!

@baggy I’m confused as highlight shown on line earlier today shows Macca scuff his shot but no touch from Alfie. Scruffy goal by Macca I think and no celebration or claim by Alfie.

Will be interesting to see how many fans can make it to Borehamwood on Tuesday, not an easy  journey.

I'm hoping there will be a Reigate pick up for the club coach.

You can ask, but i seriously doubt it as the coach will join the M25 at Leatherhead.

Train is an easy option from Redhill. The 1700 from Redhill will get you to Elstree and Borehamwood by 18:15 changing at Farringdon

I'll have a Guinness

Surprised at how strong the line-up was to be honest and I think that will hurt us for these play-off games this week.

Some stats from the game:

Possession: Dorking 63% - 37% Chesham

Shots (On Target): Dorking 15 (6) - 6 (3) Chesham

xG: Dorking 1.94 - 0.39 Chesham

Passes: 512 - 248 Chesham - 2nd most of 2025

Top Performers: Brennan Camp / Tony Craig [7.8]
