The final game of the season awaits as we face Chesham United at Meadowbank on Saturday. The final day could see us end anywhere from Champions to 6th place and a resulting midweek eliminator next week. The Generals actually visit us in good form as they sit in 14th place with 3 wins from their last 5.

Dorking will be crowned champions if we beat Chesham and the following miracle takes place:

Truro lose at home to St Albans

Torquay lose away at Hemel Hempstead

Eastbourne draw or lose at home to Weston-super-Mare

Worthing draw or lose away at Enfield

Boreham Wood draw or lose away at Tonbridge or they win by 3+ less goals than we do

Josh Taylor returns from suspension but it is unclear if Marc will choose to rest some players with a likely playoff eliminator and/or potential semi-final looming next week. Wouldn't surprise me to see the likes of Prior, Craig, Muitt, etc rested and Camp looked as though he picked up an injury right at the end of the game on Monday.

Predictions:

Dorking 3-1 Chesham (Rutherford, Taylor, Murphy)

2,198 att. (84 away)

                                  Foulkes

              Francomb      Gallagher     Milsom

     Briggs     Williams  Pybus   Taylor   Norville-Williams

                        McShane      Rutherford

Subs: Craig, Moore, McManus, Carter, Murphy

Should have enough with Prior and Carter being rested to get the job done if that line up is accurate.

I think looking at the fixtures we finish 5th. We will win something like 2-1 or 2-0 and at least one of the teams above us drops points. This is usually the case when we come to this last day of the season scramble.

Not going to be there Saturday, as I have tickets for Palace at Wembley.

I'll go for a comfortable 2-0 win with Jimmy and Josh Taylor scoring.

Can see Borehamwood dropping points at Tonbridge, and possibly Eastbourne not taking full points at home to Weston.

As for all the others, can see them taking maximum points from their games.

That being I can see us finishing 4th, and end up possibly playing Maidstone at home in the eliminator.

I'll have a Guinness

Ok, here goes;

Dorking (2) 4 Chesham (0) 1   Rutherford (3), Carter

2,105

Truro lose v St Albans

Torquay lose at Hemel

Worthing draw at Enfield

Eastbourne lose v Weston

B'Wood draw v Tonbridge

Crowned champions at 5.02pm

You heard it here first, and yes, I have had a drink.

I see this being a close win for Dorking who will finish 4th or 5th, so home eliminator next week. Again won't be there as at Crawley hoping they can win and take fight against relegation to Last game.

No indication from Marc on whether or not he will choose to rest any players but he did mention that Francomb misses the game with an injury.

I'm going 3-1 Dorking. Chesham must be better now than they were at their place, but surely can't be too much of a threat.

Could see Worthing struggling at Enfield on that pitch, but otherwise I wouldn't expect too many favours. Should be fun after the game either way.

He is not resting anyone, he is going balls deep for the win here.

Change my prediction to 3-0.

Disappointingly predictable bunch of scores today. The game felt like a run of the mill end of season affair.Certainly going to be the hard way if we do manage promotion.
If it is to be NLS again, at least we have a double header against Horsham to look forward to 😩

Yes looking like 3 away games if make it that far, one at Torquay. Congratulations to Horsham on their promotion- looking forward to local derbies with big crowds, if don't win playoffs.

We are awaiting details - I hope so, keep an eye on club social media (twitter/facebook) and if I see anything announced I will also post on here
