Dorking Wandering
The Dorking Wanderers FC Fans Forum
A first trip to Essex this season as we face newly promoted Billericay Town this Saturday. The Blues won promotion through the Isthmian Prem playoffs last season and have made a solid start back at step 2, currently sitting 13th with 7 points.
No fitness update yet, so no news on the injury that forced Camp off late against Truro. Muitt, Taylor, Gallagher and Vincent remain mid-long term absentees. Josh Laqeretabua has returned to Charlton, while Femi Ilesanmi has joined the club.
Predictions:
Billericay 1-2 Dorking (Nikaj, Forster)
1,139 att.
Morris
Philpot Annesley Sayers
Forster Pybus Pinchard Lewis
Barrett
Nikaj Rutherford
Subs: Francomb, Ilesanmi, Page, Tauta-Caballero, McShane, Wood, Rogalski
Be great to keep the momentum going so I’ll say 1-2 aswell
Goals for Alfie and Barrett
Just seen Marc’s update, Page has left too. No word on Camps injury but Vinnie is two weeks away. Also seems Pinchard may be rested this weekend
Yeah, shame about Page, I liked him as a player.
Concering about Muitt and Gallagher. They are two players that have missed far too many games to injury in the last few seasons...
I assume Francomb comes in for Pinchard if he is rested this weekend. Hopefully Camp is fit enough to start as well.
Medical report yesterday said Camp just had fatigue, not a specific injury and it was hoped he would be in squad for Saturday.
Billericay 2-3 Wanderers
0-3. Nikaj, Alfie and Forster
Think I will go for Billericay 0-2 Dorking Alfie and Ragowlski with the goals
I'll have a Guinness
Billericay 0 Dorking 1
"Why would I leave to join a League Two club? We're going there anyway!" - Marc White
0-1 win for the wanderers. Barrett
1-3 to the Wanderers. No doubt we will let in an early goal. Alfie, PP and Barret to reply.
Billericay 1-2 Dorking Wanderers win, both goals from Nikaj.
3 wins on the spin at this stage of the season seems too good to be true. 1-1 (Nikaj)
0-1 to the Wanderers. Dennon Lewis with a "get back on track" goal.
1-3 to dorking
I've looked on the travel tread - but is there anything interesting we should know about Billericay before travelling, pubs etc?
