The beginning of at least 3 matches in a row at Meadowbank this month starts with newly promoted AFC Totton this weekend. The Stags currently sit in 4th place in the table on 13 points.

Dorking will be without Harrison Foulkes for four weeks due to a spleen injury and currently have no senior reserve keeper in the squad. Francomb, Norville-Williams and McManus seemingly remain sidelined but Louie Annesley returns to the squad after recovering from the injury he picked up in early pre-season.

Predictions:

Dorking 2-1 Totton (Rutherford x 2)

1,468 att.

                      ???

       Camp     Storey    Vincent

  Muitt     Taylor   Gallagher   Lewis

                     Carter

           Rutherford    Prior

Subs: Craig, Annesley, Pybus, Saunders, Moore, Hebert, McShane

It is great publicity but it will be interesting to see how the club get out of this today/tomorrow as you will get people going to the game expecting to see Terry in goal. I am sure there are some clever/funny ways they can announce that he won't actually be playing.

@dorking-eagle Couldn't agree more! This is one of the reasons we love this club.

It’s certainly sparked an interest. Hopefully a few more through the gate to get behind the lads tomorrow.

Register him, stick him on the bench and if we have a strong lead then bring him on in the 94th minute, with 4 defenders in front of him.

It'd be the stuff of legend, a true 'I was there' moment, and a magnificent gesture to one of the most loyal home and away fans the club has.

Exactly why we love this club, because it does things that no other club has the balls to do.

Great stunt by the club. Had me wondering for a moment. Having been stood next to Terry when the injury happened it’s safe to say that finding his gloves was not on his mind!

I’m sure there’s a reason why we don’t have a number 2 keeper in the building but I can’t remember it.  Would be great to see Dan Lincoln  back now cricket is over.

All out attack required.  3-0.

1,601 (swollen by the curiosity of seeing our Terry 🤣 ) - 121 from Hampshire

Injury in training? Nothing against Terry, but I am hoping to see someone else in goal. I was going tomorrow anyway, but I am sure people will go due to the discount offered and the fact it is international football weekend, so little or no professional football nearby.

Brilliant of the club to make Terry the star of the week and show much they love and value the supporters, to run with the story.

Terry has memories that will last a lifetime, as well as the genuine Guardian and BBC news articles to frame and keep on the wall!

Not many fans get to be an official squad member with an official squad shirt, and Terry has lived that dream in a whirlwind 48 hours.

I think it is smashing that the club gave Terry the star treatment and did this. The club is unique like this, and it's been amazing. I hope every fan gives Terry a big round of applause today.

Good loan signing. Had experience in NLS with Eastbourne and Bath.

@dorking-eagle An excellent marketing ploy by the club. Highlights a loyal fan while in turn gaining hundreds of thousands of views on mainstream media outlets. With it being international weekend, people would of seen the articles and possibly attend todays game/future games. Also helps with merchandise people may take an interest in the club and go online and order a shirt etc.

On a side note does anyone know if the pink shirts will be available to buy or are they a stricty player release one off?

I have not heard anything about selling replicas of the pink shirts but if Marc doesn't want to wear black at away night games, then we may wear it again

Shirts get auctioned at the end of the season, so even if they don't sell replicas of the pink shirt, the match worn ones should be available to bid on, albeit they are in quite tight sizing usually, the players aren't XXL!

@dorking-eagle Dover, Enfield and Eastbourne are three Tuesday night away games I can think of off the top of my head but suspect the home kit would be worn for the first two and white vs Eastbourne. Will keep an eye out was hoping they would do a full release so I could get one for my soon to be 2 year olds collection, he loves wearing this seasons black away and always points at the badge to say Dorking😁

That's lovely! Yes keep an eye out, if enough want it you never know!

As for todays game, hope Alfie starts alongside Jason up front, and we score a few, home form is massive this season.

Good solid win. Dennon Lewis or Jimmy Muitt my MOM. Storey also had good solid game, and was impressed with keeper (can we keep him for months, though someone said another keeper coming in next week?). Good goals by Alfie and Carter. Looked over line from where I was early on (was that end). Good to see Annersley back
