Getting to that time of year where we can start to see the teams we will be facing next season. Obviously we don't know what league we will be in yet but we can see the confirmed teams so far for both.
NLS Confirmed Teams for 26/27 so far:
Dagenham & Redbridge
AFC Totton
Tonbridge Angels
Horsham
Slough Town
Hampton & Richmond Borough
Farnborough
Walton & Hersham (Southern Prem winners)
Folkestone Invicta (Isthmian Prem winners)
Truro City (Relegated from NL)
Braintree Town (Relegated from NL)*
Playoff places for both leagues are basically set as well, so we will see one of Gloucester, Farnham, Poole, Berkhamstead or Sholing from the Southern, and one of Aveley, Billericay, Brentwood, Chatham or Dartford from the Isthmian.
Will be interesting to see what league Gloucester go in if they win the Southern League playoffs. Recently have been in the NLN but they could switch with Braintree.
NL Confirmed Teams for 26/27 so far:
Hartlepool United
Woking
Tamworth
Wealdstone
Solihull Moors
Boston United
Altrincham
Yeovil Town
Gateshead
Sutton United
Aldershot Town
Eastleigh
Worthing likely to be added to this list, as well as either AFC Fylde or South Shields. Still not clear who will be coming down from League Two but Barrow and Harrogate Town are starting to get left behind.
@gary-munnery Demoralising cant see how things turn around atm. Going to be an awfully long season at this rate for them
Just see Teddy Jenks has signed for Carlisle from Worthing. Will be a big loss for them
Ebbsfleet are hoping for the green light to start playing matches

Sounds odd but I sort of want Torquay to stabilise a bit over these next couple of games as I don't want them getting another new manager bounce against us in a couple of weeks...
@dorking-eagle Still no word on the outcome yet. The Leagues meeting was lastnight 7pm and it will be announced by them this morning at some point

Farnham Chairman Harry Hugo has done a long and detailed tweet on twitter (X) detailing the various volumes of revenue, from the number of various pints sold to number of shirts, food takings and so on.
Very interesting figures even if it does come across as somewhat boastful about how he has shaped the experience to maximise revenues.
Well worth seeking out if you have an interest in how they are working to get fans in the ground earlier buying burgers (or replica shirts)!
Of course not a word about how the financial outgoings for VAT, wages and all the infrastructure costs almost certainly outweigh the income, and are reliant on benefactors like himself!
It will be interesting how the attendances fare when the sunny afternoons are replaced by dark, cold and wet ones.
By the way, still no sign of any sort of planning application for all the buildings, structures and stands that were erected this summer! 🤔

@dorking-eagle It's very interesting.
And as you say, fascinating to see what happens when the 'experience' which Harry is very, very focused on is replaced solely by the actual event which may well be taking place in the freezing cold, dark and pouring rain....🤔
@dorking-eagle Will there be any sanctions? It can't be right that they just start playing again with zero consequence.
This may work in thier favour, having had weeks to analyse and understand the other sides, and view how the league is shaping up overall as well as keeping players fresh.
On the flip side of course, they will have to squeeze those extra games in which might congest a little, but it's early enough in the season, so I'd see this as an advantage overall tbh.
@adeb You could argue theyve got the best possible first game aswell, Walton & Hersham away
@adeb They still have a transfer embargo, and a suspended 6 point deduction which may be applied if any further issues, so they have not got off lightly. Personally I don't like any club to be thrown out of the League/go bust, so I am glad it has been resolved. They also have the psychological disadvantage of having to catch up, so I would much prefer to be in our position than theirs.
@dorking-eagle At least for their fans they'll be starting their season off with 3 points and a load of goals.
