Fixtures for the 25/26 NLS season are released tomorrow at 1pm.

Who does everyone think we will get first up? Who would everyone want first up?

Also, predictions on the Xmas/New Year and Easter double header combo?

Opening fixture prediction: Weston-super-Mare (H)

Opening fixture ideal: Enfield (H)

Christmas/Easter double header teams: Farnborough & Horsham

A reminder that our oppening fixture opponent has gone on to win the league the last 2 seasons and make the play-off final the year before that...

I think we will start at home to Dagenham & Redbridge

I want us to start away to Weston super-Mare

Xmas/NYD/Easter teams - Horsham and Worthing

(but Worthing could get paired up with Totton)

As I said on twitter (more than once!), last season I got pretty much my dream league fixture list -

- Started away at the one I wanted most (to be the first team to play at Truro's new ground)

- 4 of the first 5 aways were Devon/Cornwall/seaside trips (the other one was a 'new ground' as well - Aveley)

- Even the last away game in late April was a seaside trip (Worthing)

However, in reality it made a big chunk of the season pretty dull from a travelling perspective - away game after away game seemingly trundling round the M25! (yes I know in reality there were trips to Bath, Chippenham etc)

This season only one new ground for me in the league (Totton), although it is 10 years since I visited Dover's ground. I am looking forward to both those trips very much. And hopefully a long cup run (or two).

Hopefully if nothing else, a more 'even spread' of the more attractive away games (ie across the season).

Hopefully a nice little trip to Hornchurch or Chesham to start with.

Christmas New Year and Easter I would imagine will be Horsham and possibly Farnborough

New grounds this season are Dover, Totton, Dagenham, Ebbsfleet and Slough.

Probably wont bother with Maidstone away as I didn't enjoy it at all last season down there

I was saying to someone the other day that I think it’ll be Weston away first.

I was hoping we might start at home this year to someone like Totton or Dover

The holiday games being Horsham & Ebbsfleet

Genuinely considering going in the home seats (incognito) for Maidstone away Steve, if it doesn't clash with a Palace away game. None of those prison style searches, and can see the game with ease, without the aggro that if you need to go for a wee you haven't lost your view of the game. Plus no abusive comments from home fans as you walk round the ground afterwards either. Prob me getting soft but it'd be an improvement on the arrangements from last season - lets see how the fixtures fall later.

Heard a number of them, Christmas has the potential to be ruined lol

(anyone got stats on how many times we have been at home on boxing day, in say the last 8 years??)

@dorking-eagle The last away Boxing Day game I could find was Chipstead in 2015

Oh well Dover away won’t happen for me unless I pull a sickie at work
At least the other midweek always are reasonable. Was hoping Eastbourne would be a Saturday but you can’t have everything

I'll have a Guinness

By road leaving Dorking at 4pm you're looking at 2.5 hours to Dover I think (or thereabouts)

Interesting set of fixtures;

A favourable opening month or so with Chippenham away first up.

October and March look really tough.

Some long-ish midweek games throughout the season - Dover, Eastbourne, Hornchurch, Enfield.

Home on Boxing Day yet again. No NYD fixture this season.

Tricky final few games ending up with a trip to Weston.

it’s getting enough people interested to run a coach there too
