So many permutations...
Win at Worthing, then we could be anywhere between 1st and 3rd going into the last day
Draw at Worthing, then we could realistically be anywhere between 2nd and 6th going into the last day.
Lose at Worthing and it's guaranteed play-offs (cannot finish 1st or 8th)
No reported injuries going into the Worthing game.

I’m not sure how Marc will set up with Josh T being out, will be a big miss. I’d expect JNW to start and maybe Briggs back to the bench(he was quiet yesterday)
As for the match, head says score draw but pray we can grab that win
Josh Taylor obviously a big miss but we have enough midfielders to cope I reckon. Marc will be a big miss on the touchline as well. However, Worthing played a long time with 10 men on Friday which is a bit of a boost for us at least.
A reminder also that Worthing can be crowned champions if they win and Truro, Torquay and Eastbourne all lose.
Worthing 1-1 Dorking (Prior)

Camp Craig Milsom
Muitt Gallagher Young Norville-Williams

Prior Rutherford
Subs: Francomb, Williams, McManus, Briggs, Murphy
Capacity of the ground is currently limited to 3000 (despite the new longside covered terrace having an 1800 capacity according to its builder, Stadium Solutions https://stadiumsolutions.co.uk/news/case-studies/worthing-football-club/#:~:text=To%20accommodate%20the%20club%27s%20needs,for%20safety%20and%20crowd%20control.
There was an article on it only a couple of weeks ago

Apparently all the sign offs to give an official capacity of 4000 will be done in the Summer close season
If we do have half of that new terrace, then in reality the 600 of us there will have an actual standing capacity of 900, so it won't be uncomfortable.

@dorking-eagle Hope that's not correct on the min 600! Was hoping we might be less generous in the play offs this time and restrict to maybe 300. Keep the away fans from behind Harrison...Every little bit helps.
I think we're guaranteed a top 3 if we win tomorrow?
Worthing (1) 1 Dorking (0) 2 Muitt, Carter (94th min winner, place goes mental, fans on the pitch, etc etc)
3,000
* It is correct, sadly. But we will, I think, do all we can to keep away fans from behind the goal.
Very excited for the trip today. Should be a good game of footy as well as day out - another away win would awesome.
I hope that is right about the terrace for 600+. There will be lots of Wanderers fans with tickets for home ends, so I hope stewards are forgiving.
Love your scenario @AdeB - but recent experience suggests 2-2 more likely. A home play off would nice.
Looks like we are getting the corner terrace and north east section in the new stand.

After today's results, don't think will finish top 3. Need to win Saturday and hopefully get home eliminator in playoffs. Hopefully semi won't be away in West Country. Need Torquay or Truro to win league.
Horsham are 2nd in Isthmian (by goals scored), and guaranteed home playoff in semis. Could play in League next season?
I hope they lose in the play offs to be honest, fed up of playing Horsham so often over the years. Well run club, very smart ground etc, just like to keep them at least a league below us.

I think that away end was a bit on the tight side to be honest for 600 people. 500 would have been a more sensible number to have in there.
Especially with just one small counter doing the food and beers for everyone.
If Worthing do go up and they have 600 hungry northerners arrive there off a long coach ride from Oldham/Rochdale etc, they aren't going to be very impressed with the cramped space. At least move the 'divide' along a bit on the covered terrace so everyone can breathe a bit.
While I am on a moan up, whilst our away end isn't amazing to be honest, that's at least 3 away games with segregation this season (Salisbury, Maidstone and Worthing) where we haven't been afforded a single seat for away fans. We give 3 rows of seats (first come first served) in our main stand.
Anyway, on to the play offs. Hopefully there are slip ups and we can at least get a home midweek eliminator (ie at least 5th). Fingers crossed.

Yep, very happy to give Horsham a miss if possible.
On the game today I thought a draw was a fair result. We had a good start to both halves but could not sustain momentum and neither side produced great chances or gambled by throwing men forward. Would have been a massive bonus had that shot from Jimmy flown in at the end - looked close from our end. Not a performance of champions though.
Segregation seemed a bit OTT, with high fences obscuring the view. And there was certainly room for more behind the goal. But overall it seemed pretty well organised and a decent ground; and a great atmosphere too.
