I am going for 3-2 to Wanderers, including a brace for Pat Casey!
"Why would I leave to join a League Two club? We're going there anyway!" - Marc White
Going to be tough with the availability but fancy us to pick up a much needed home win ahead of 2 big games over Christmas.
Injury news yesterday was interesting - Josh Taylor potentially out for the season but Norville-Williams possibly back in the New Year. McManus returns to training next week and Rutherford expected back in Feb. Luke Moore a couple of weeks away but Prior and Muitt have a chance for tomorrow. Jose Marquez returns to FGR with a serious hamstring injury.

Casey clearly upset MW in that first half vs WSM getting pulled early in the game. He is now benched with JP9 starting ahead of him. The supposed "Raging bull" runs back to vegan friendly FGR with an "injury" after only managing 5 weeks of playing senior football.
You would expect with Carter playing as a CF, that we have enough to get the job done here. With Casey to come off the bench.
Dorking Wanderers 3-1 (Muitt, Carter, Camp)
Great to come away with the win after a poor scrappy first half. Shame both the goals were up the other end. Did anyone else buy one of the stone cold hotdogs?🤣
Yep. Not sure we deserved the win against a very decent Slough team I thought, but will take it! Again, we were rescued by moments of absolute quality from Dennon and Charlie. Fantastic goals. Other results went our way too mostly.
Thought our second half performance was generally excellent, with class showing in the end.
Great, noisy following as usual - let's hope we get some decent numbers at Worthing as that away end really amplifies the noise.
Second half was a much better game of football for sure. Great save by Foulkes to keep us in it. And great to see Young playing with such confidence- he really looked to run the game second half. We will need him and Pybus there every week if JT is out for season. I thought we also looked better up the right when Storey came in and joined the build up; and Vincent offers a lot more on the left going forward. Some cracking games to look forward to over Xmas now - tough as they will be.
A first comeback win away from home since January against Weymouth! I think this is the first week we've scored some worldies since that Murphy goal in that game also.
First half was a tactical disaster but second half was much better and a much more standard Wanderers performance. Some excellent performances from the likes of Lewis, Young and Gallagher. Some important moments for Foulkes as well after a difficult few weeks for him.
Really hope Muitt isn't injured again as we are going to need him over these next couple of big games...
Stats:
Possession: Slough 49% - 51% Dorking
Shots (OT): Slough 11 (5) - 12 (8) Dorking
xG: Slough 1.58 - 0.82 Dorking
Top Performer: Jack Young [8.0] - For some reason he was awarded the goal instead of Dennon on Sofascore. Pretty sure Dennon would have got this otherwise...
I thought that was the type of 3 points that a league Championship winning team pulls out the bag.
It was a real result that gets us towards that title, and injuries and talks about who is fit is just BS.
Exceptional play from Carter and Dennon, and Pybus there.
