A fifth straight game at Meadowbank as we face Hornchurch for a top of the table clash tomorrow night. The Urchins currently sit in 3rd, just 3 points behind us and with an extra game in hand. They have 10 points from their last 5 games.
Injury news is bleak as McShane, Muitt and McCallum are all added to the long term absentee list. Francomb missed the Farnborough game but is visible in the training footage from this morning so might be in line for a return tomorrow night. Carter and Pybus were described as 7-10 days away before the game on Sat so likely won't make this one.

Will be a really tough game and I reckon both sides would settle for a point. Balanta is a real goal threat for them, but not the only one. Hoping that we start with Knight and Vincent in midfield, with Gallagher.
1-1 (Rutherford)
Momentum is a big thing in football and I think we win this 2-1 despite lacking some key lads. Given a horrendous 2 weeks for key players all getting crocked for the season, the momentum carries us here.
Unless recruitment happens and a bit of gamble occurs on the recruitment side I do not see us staying in the top 3.
Surely there are three things we can agree upon:-
1. Vincent is not a player, absolutely useless
2. Prior needs to be retired. This is one season too many, probably 2.
3. Our pre match, post match and overall training regime needs to be reviewed as the number of injuries is unreal. More concerning is that everyone that joins the team suffers a serious season ending injury in less than 8 weeks. And we are referring to young lads here, not just older players dropping down like McCallum.
