I see Farnham had to turn people away on Saturday with just over 2k in the ground. That's quite something for them - and, I think around 1,300 pints drunk.
They're clearly doing a lot right, but guess they're riding a pretty big wave at the moment - be interesting to see what happens when the inevitable happens and they hit a sticky patch.
I'd also imagine the view from most parts of the ground would've been pretty poor with that many present.
Thier away support remains poor from what I've seen tho - around 50 I think - so similar to us before we made the National League and our away following multiplied considerably to today's regular 200 (which swells to 600 and beyond for the bigger games).
The owner of Farnham, Harry Hugo did a really interesting thread on twitter over the weekend.
It was fantastic comms (really open and transparent), he discussed the pros and cons of moving a Saturday 3pm game to Saturday at 5.30pm
The game was streamed (at short notice) on the new Isthmian streaming service 'Clubber tv', and he looked at all aspects of it.
In short, the food and drink spend per head was a record - over £16 per person, which is insane. Apparently he put on an Oktoberfest theme, with an Ooompah band, German beer and sausages.
The ground demographic was a lot more 'adult' than the Saturday afternoon crowd they usually get, and which they are trying to grow the club with, but it was broadly speaking a success (and not because of the miniscule streaming fee they got, which I suspect was £1000)
I would guess that such kick offs will be only an occasional thing there, because the opposition club have to agree to the move too, and he doesn't want to annoy families and season ticket holders too much, which is the core support, but it was a success
