Dorking Wandering
The Dorking Wanderers FC Fans Forum
Back on grass this weekend as we face Bath City away at Twerton Park. The Romans currently sit 1 point ahead of us in 10th place.
Doesn't sound like any of the injured players will be back for this one and Luke Moore remains unavailable.
Predictions:
Bath 1-2 Dorking (Prior, Lewis)
1,049 att (145 away)
Foulkes
Camp Storey Vincent
Muitt Taylor Gallagher Lewis
Carter
Rutherford Prior
Subs: Craig, Pybus, Saunders, Tauta-Caballero, McShane, Hebert, Lawrence
A tough one this, but I fancy us to build a little momentum and get some revenge from last season...
Bath City (1) 2 DWFC (0) 3 Rutherford (3)
1,101 (225 from Surrey)
Bath has consistently done well in defence this season.
It really depends on if our defence is able to put two performances together in a row. Bath looks like a side that will draw a good number this season, and we drew lots of games last season.
Therefore, my prediction is 2-2 with goals from Hebert and Lewis.
Rain forecast - for those going let's get under that roof and make some noise - just like at Borehamwood...
I’m going 1-1. Hopefully Bath will try to play rather than sit back. That will make a better game - and maybe we can convert those chances again this week.
Score draw for me 1-1.
Im sure there will be plenty of anti Dorking and BOA feelings about , which will make for a good atmosphere
I notice Sullivan is on the bench. Does anyone know anything about him? Is he a keeper or an Academy player?
Good first half, scrappy second half. A well earned 3 points in the rain
Does anyone know why the two keepers were sent off?
@bethdan First one, ball bounced passed the keeper and Rutherford beat him to hit so he pulled him down before he could score.
Second one, counter attack and keeper came miles off his line but Lewis beat him to hit and knocked it round him and keeper scythed him down.
@crawleysth He's the back up keeper from the B team. He was on the bench for Chippenham as well.
Thanks, when I heard it was two keepers I was initially worried that one of them might be Foulkes
Incredible prediction Tom!!
Thought for long spells of the game the team lost it's way a bit, but did the basics very well regardless - defending was excellent
What a player Brennan Camp is by the way.
